Hi, I just bought a side by side and would like help identifying all the markings. From the serial number it's from 1921...need help with the rest.
Any help or comments appreciated. Tom |
It is a Trojan grade Parker, should have 30" barrels.
|
It's a 12 gauge built on the 2 frame and the pre-struck barrel weight is 4 lbs., 1 oz.
HT/A is believed to mean High Tensile Alloy. J.G. (James Geary) was the barrel maker. OV is the stamp for Trojan Steel. Looks to be in pretty darn good shape. . |
Yes it's in good condition and I might just do a light refinish in the stock...shoots well.
Thanks for the info it's just what I was looking for. |
