BHE questions

I received the research letter on my BHE and I would like thoughts on the present configuration verses the letter.
Here are some pictures as well as the letter description.
It now has a non auto safety and well as a single trigger.
I also wish Bob Beach was still doing records research for G&H. I would love to have letters on now 3 high end guns that they may have records on.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Very nice gun Phil, no repair codes on the barrel flats?

Not sure what trigger that is but it isn't a Parker Brothers single trigger. So I suppose someone converted the double triggers to a single trigger for a previous owner. Very nice gun though!!

No Remington repair codes on the barrel flats.

That could be a Parker SST with a special order selector slide? The long trigger in the right slot and the selector in the left.

Perhaps the gun was back to Parker Bros. for a safety and the SST with a special selector slide.

Imdont recall the LOP being called out the way it is written in the letter. Are these measurements given for the different triggers positions?

I have never seen LOP noted like that in a letter either.

I suspect that is 14 1/4-inch to the center of the butt, 14 3/8-inch to the heel and 14 1/2-inch to the toe.

The guns trigger may in fact be a Parker factory mechanism. It is hard to tell. But the selector is not factory at least. It could just be a modified version to make it easier to operate for the owner at the time.

The safety button is the later style, which would have come along after the gun was originally made. Also suggesting a return to the factory for its addition. Likely at the same time the single trigger was added.
The gun was made before the first style factory sst was offered.
