Overlooked from last year !
 

I found a package of eleven dove breasts left over from last year , so they were cooked tonight ! Seasoned with a Cajun seasoning then wrapped with bacon . Put in a Pyrex dish and baked at 425 for about 20 minutes then moved to the top rack and broiled for 10 minutes with the oven door open . Added some fried taters cole slaw , cucumbers and cherry tomatoes . For year old dove breast they were rather tastey !

Just talking about this today with an old friend Time to get last years game out of the freezer and use it up We both have alot of grouse and pheasant left from last year. I like to smoke mine, it doesnt last long when I bring out the smoked grouse and pheasant--and makes a nice little gift for friends also.

Those were overlooked or they’d have been eaten months ago . Think I’ve got one pack Pheasents , two bags backstraps maybe six packs inner tenderloin and two bags of burger and I’ll be cleared out from last year .
