Bringing this to the top with less than a month to go. Anyone wanting a commerative tee-shirt please let me know your size either here or by PM. I will only be making them for those that want them.

Dean Romig 03-17-2013 06:33 PM

I'll want a T-shirt Dave. Still XL too. I'll check with Jamie to ask if he wants one - are they still $15?

How about red or maroon this time?

Dave Suponski 03-17-2013 06:39 PM

Thanks Dean, I think we did maroon last year.

Dean Romig 03-17-2013 06:40 PM

Chuck Bishop 03-17-2013 07:39 PM

Dave, I think you should make them pink:rotf:

Dave Suponski 03-17-2013 07:41 PM

allen newell 04-07-2013 11:10 AM

should be good grilling weather

Dean Romig 04-07-2013 11:20 AM

Allen, we've been doing this for eight years... Grilling is a given.

allen newell 04-07-2013 04:35 PM

Thank you Dean

Dean Romig 04-07-2013 10:09 PM

Generally we each bring one item we can share with several. Nobody is expected to feed the masses. We'll all keep in touch regarding what we're bringing so that twelve people don't bring hot-dogs and nobody brings the rolls.

Weather Forecast - Mapleville R.I.

As of today, the weather forecast for Addieville on Saturday April 13 shows mostly sunny & breezy with a 53 degree high/32 degree low for the day. :bigbye:

allen newell 04-09-2013 06:46 AM

Addieville Weather Update as of Tuesday 4/9

Weather update for Saturday's PGCA Fun Shoot at Addieville Farms East is as follows:

Partly Sunny & Windy 55 degree high/31 degree low for the day :bigbye:

Dean Romig 04-09-2013 07:53 AM

So probably 45 - 55 while we're shooting and later grilling. Not so bad and the breezes should make for challenging target presentations. It should be a very good day.

Frank Cronin 04-09-2013 05:24 PM

I'm in! I was able to make some moves for work.... See you all there.

Dave, could you tells us the cost of the shoot and what chokes you would use on this coarse? thanks scott

allen newell 04-10-2013 07:29 PM

Scott, I believe we paid $50 for one round on the course (100 clays). 7 1/2's, 8's nothing heavier.

a 100 targets, wow don't know if i will last for a 100, scott

allen newell 04-10-2013 07:43 PM

bring some bottled water, you'll be outside for a few hours. You can do it Scott. Everyone takes their time and it's paced out well. It's fun and good company.

Larry Frey 04-10-2013 07:46 PM

Scott,
They usually give use member rates which I believe to be $35.00 per 100 targets. If you don't reload the shells can almost cost more than the targets.

allen newell 04-10-2013 07:51 PM

Good deal and you can spend the savings at Robin Hollow!

allen newell 04-11-2013 06:01 AM

Weather is holding around 55/36 for Saturday's outing. It will be a comfortable day on the course

Here is Addieville's web address: http://www.addieville.com/

Dean Romig 04-11-2013 07:01 AM

Just a quick reminder in case anyone was wondering... There are no food vendors at Addieville. Some of us are bringing some extra food to share but if you have a special preference you should bring it and maybe bring enough to share as well. But don't go overboard... If you bring too much it will probably be wasted.

allen newell 04-11-2013 07:11 AM

Just to add to what Dean has said above: For all those sausage lovers out there, I made and will bring approx 5 lbs of semi-sweet Italian sausages with fresh rolls and peppers and onions for topping. 5 lbs yielded about 13 large links. Anything left over cna be taken home so there will be no waste (my daughters have already laid claim to any left over). These are all pork sausage - no hidden venison ground in. They are good.

So are they pseudo sweet? What's the latest on the weather?

Dean Romig 04-11-2013 10:50 AM

Maybe Larry will bring the sausages with the "hidden venison" ground in.... like 100% "hidden venison"
