Parker Pages - Keep your eyes open....

Thank you Dean for publishing my article. I hope all the readers enjoyed reading it, as much as I did writing it - and - collection fine Parkers.

Mills Morrison 12-21-2012 10:56 AM

I enjoyed your article very much!

edgarspencer 12-21-2012 11:52 AM

I would like to enjoy it, but apparently the powers that be decided CT gets there's last, if ever. STILL WAITING!!!!!!!!!

Bill Murphy 12-21-2012 11:56 AM

I tried to concentrate on the great article, but I couldn't get past the "DHE .410 with 28" barrels".

Paul Plager 12-21-2012 12:00 PM

Edgar, your'e not alone. I haven't recieved mine yet either.:crying:

Steve Huffman 12-21-2012 12:27 PM

Hell I got mine Two weeks ago !!! no not really

Bill Davis 12-21-2012 01:53 PM

Mine arrived 20 minutes ago--along with Sporting Classics and yesterday I received Shooting Sportsman. Lotsa good reading ahead this weekend!

George M. Purtill 12-21-2012 02:14 PM

Is there a way to upgrade our memberships so that we get our PP before the next issue comes out?

Mills Morrison 12-21-2012 02:18 PM

Become a Georgia member. I got mine earlier this week

Mills Morrison 12-21-2012 02:18 PM

By the way, I enjoyed George's articles too

I shoulda stayed down south after college. Mail is better, food is better, weather is better.
Mills- you are still welcome to visit when you come to Addieville.

Todd Kaltenbach 12-21-2012 03:57 PM

I live in Texas and mine hasn't come yet either.

Paul Plager 12-21-2012 04:00 PM

Todd, Texas is so big that it takes awhile for the mailman to get them to us.

Daryl Corona 12-21-2012 04:54 PM

My issue must have fallen of the fiscal cliff with Rich. No PP in Maryland to this guy yet.:)

Mills Morrison 12-21-2012 04:58 PM

Does anyone have their LC Smith magazine yet? If it's ok to ask here . . . .

John Dallas 12-21-2012 05:42 PM

Isn't the L.C. magazine kept on the top shelf, wrapped in plain brown paper?

Russ Jackson 12-21-2012 06:23 PM

Still can't find mine in the Mailbox yet! :banghead:

JAMES HALL 12-21-2012 06:25 PM

Both came this week. Both in clear plastic. Jim

Dean Romig 12-21-2012 10:29 PM

They all were mailed a week ago today. If you haven't received your copies yet it is not the fault of the publisher... there is obviously some kind of 'log jam' at the central post office serving your area.

Give it time fellas.

Richard Flanders 12-22-2012 12:05 AM

Give it up! Youz guyz have no idea what being "last" on the Parker pages means!! At this time of year mail takes a LONG time to get up to Alaska.

Jim DiSpagno 12-22-2012 12:10 AM

Mine came this past Wednesday in NJ

edgarspencer 12-30-2012 10:08 AM

Look What The Snowman, I mean Mailman Brought me.

I wish my bills were this slow to arrive.

Dean Romig 12-30-2012 01:43 PM

Finally!!!

That ought to give you something to do now. Your mail carrier has been complaining that you pester him every day and accuse him of stealing your Parker Pages.

(my mail carrier really appreciates the fact that I loan him each issue. He's a Winchester and Browning guy)

Sit back, get comfortable and enjoy it and.

Richard Flanders 12-30-2012 02:17 PM

Thanks for the heads up Edgar; I'll have to put a lantern out for the dog team mail carrier here in a week or so I guess.

edgarspencer 12-30-2012 02:24 PM

Yeah Richard. When my son was stationed on Kodiak, I learned that "Priority" meant 'This month, Maybe'. Express was almost definitely 'this month'.
Dean, I've already read a borrowed copy from George Purtill, cover to cover. I sure do look good shooting that little 16 hammer.

Dave Suponski 12-30-2012 02:55 PM

Really Egger???.....Ya think???

Eldon Goddard 12-30-2012 03:20 PM

I thought all the articles were excellent. I enjoyed Mr. Hogans and Mr. Cebellis the best. I enjoy looking wherever guns are sold for parkers, eventhough I have not seen any parkers yet. Only problem with Parker Pages is waiting 4 months and reading it in a day and having to wait another 4.

George M. Purtill 12-30-2012 03:24 PM

Eldon- its only 3 months- but it does seem like 4.

Daryl Corona 12-30-2012 03:43 PM

Just got mine Thurs. Great article George. Many thanks to Dean et al for another fine issue. Egger.... Your picture of you shooting must be different than mine. But....... the 16ga. hammer is a winner.:rotf:

That's called a Preemptive strike.
Don't think for a minute I missed that little 'thank you' to your other-brother-Daryl.

Dean Romig 12-30-2012 05:39 PM

WOW.... I was aknowledging that Daryl thanked "Dean et al" .... but now that you mention it, his next remark was kinda funny :biglaugh:

George M. Purtill 12-30-2012 05:59 PM

In a remarkable show of restraint I am staying out of this New England version of Gossip Girl, BUT..... is that Dean's real last name? Romigo? So Romig is just his pen name so to speak?

Rich Anderson 12-30-2012 06:09 PM

Deans real name if Grampy:)

Eldon Goddard 12-30-2012 06:40 PM

12/4=4. That is just simple american math. :rotf:

In the spirit of the Holidays, I re-read Daryl's post and feel I may have reached a hasty conclusion. I'll let that 2nd part slide.
I knew it was inevitable Mr. Purtill would join in, which, considering this, hmmm, GQ pose, does seem ironic. No, George, It isn't any more Romigo, than Egger

Dean Romig 12-30-2012 07:02 PM

I can't wait 'til I see you guys next weekend.

Dave Suponski 12-30-2012 07:08 PM

Geeez and all I said was "Really Egger..Ya Think" :rotf::rotf::duck:

Rich Anderson 12-30-2012 07:17 PM

Play nice Grampy or Gamma will take away your toys:biglaugh:
