If that is the one I think it is that was a very good buy. Well done!!!
She is definetly worth a touch up. Nice project. Cant wait to see the final product.

Mark Landskov 12-01-2012 07:26 PM

Yes that one looks familiar and I had even been watching it. I need to get a few projects out of the way before I start any more.

ME TOO !:)

Get that gun lettered. Many Grade 3 #4 frames were built for Parker company shooters and other famous competitors.

David Noble 12-02-2012 11:57 AM

I almost pulled the trigger on that one myself! Even requested more pictures and info but the response I received was "no other pictures". He could have at least gave some additional info. That made me back away even though I knew it was a good deal.
Congratulations on your purchase. Please do show us the finished project!
David

Is that the gunbroker gun from a couple of months ago?

David Noble 12-02-2012 04:42 PM

Bill, I don't know about Gunbroker but this is where I was looking at it.

If the seller's photos had been as good as Bruce's, it would have sold for more shortly after it was listed.

bruce a lyons 12-02-2012 06:43 PM

I too, was worried about photos/condition. They offered a 3 day inspection/return. I wont be sending her back

Bill Murphy 12-02-2012 08:02 PM

Quite a deal.

Ed Blake 12-02-2012 08:15 PM

What are your plans for the old girl?

My wife says sell. Too many projects. Not working full time. Have 2 apart now.Hate it when they make sense. Christmas coming. Added more pictures of the ugly parts and projects.

David Noble 12-03-2012 02:51 PM

So which are you selling? All?

bruce a lyons 12-03-2012 07:02 PM

I need to sleep on it. Ive already sold 2 guns. The wc Scott is one fine piece, like a C or B Parker. Will entertain offers on the Grade 3 Parker

bruce a lyons 12-05-2012 03:04 PM

Listed gun on gunbroker at my wifes request.

Mills Morrison 12-05-2012 03:20 PM

Good luck with it.

Mills Morrison 12-09-2012 09:30 PM

I saw it sold. Hope somebody here got it.

bruce a lyons 12-10-2012 12:07 AM

:cheers:DID NOT THINK IT WOULD SELL, BID WITH 2 MINUTES TO GO. JUST AS WELL, TOO MANY PROJECTS. HOPE THE NEW OWNER GIVES HER WHAT SHE DESERVES. A CLEAR CASE OF CATCH AND RELEASE, SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT WITH MY WIFE.
