WELL I am at it again, some of you might have seen these guns some have not. They are in order ser 14272 grade 6 lifter, and serial # 14273 grade 5 lifter, yes they are consecutively serial numbered, The case is an old Purdey case redone by Mr Kevin McKormick,he did a good job, the engraving on these guns are quite impressive, enjoy. Holy Jesus! Holy Jesus!! A double WOW set..
|
Gary;
Absolutely stunning! Those two would be the holy grail for me and I would die a happy man. Boy I'am sure glad you learned how to post pictures. Thank you very much. They are without a doubt the most two beautiful Parkers I've ever laid eyes on. By the way, would you adopt me?:bigbye: |
I have been waiting quite some time to see this cased set. I saw the guns way back and saw the case way back, but knew I had to wait to see the end result. Gary, how about showing us the outside of the case. I have a nice double 32" Purdey case in the junk pile and you are giving me some great ideas. Kevin has built some outstanding cases for me so I am not surprised at the result of yours. This is probably the best cased pair of hammer Parkers out there.

Thanks for the Pictures Gary. GREAT stuff.

OMG
Gary thanks for the nice boost at the end of my day. |
Gary, you're getting good at posting pictures, but, practice makes perfect, so could we see a shot looking down on the top of the two receivers?
|
Pair of what?
Gary
Keep up the good work and tell Edgar to post some pictures himself. At least of his Land Rover. |
thank you for sharing. they are awesome.
i find it interesting that the grade 6 is a square frame and the next numbered gun (the grade 5) has the radius frame. you truly have an amazing pair of guns and a very important part of parker history there. |
Gentlemen, I took those photo's today when it was 30 degrees, will have to wait to get shot's of the top of hammers, I will show you one that might satisfy you, stay tuned I think I have it in the computer, and John I have letters on both guns interestingly the grade 5 was sent back to the factory in 1901 to have a new frame fitted at the cost of 15.00, hence the radius frame I would suppose, And Bill PM me I am looking for a case for 30" and 32" barrels, Gary

Thank you Gary for sharing those fabulous Parkers with us. Without good folks like you who let us into your collections we could only guess at what is out there.

I don't save too many pictures of other peoples guns but these are must haves. If I were in the presence of these guns I could spend hours admiring them.
Thank you for sharing |
Gary, Those guns are breathtaking. Thanks for sharing them with us all.
|
Gary, I am not getting rid of the Purdey case just yet. You will be first in line if I do.
|
