Nice old GH rebarrelled in Belgium, probably in the sixties. Original barrels cannibalized for extractors, screws, and lugs. Original barrels were Damascus steel.

Like Bill said, SN 65839 was originally a Grade 2 (G Grade) gun with 30 inch Damascus barrels and extractors. The "ELG" denotes Belgian manufacture of the replacement barrels.

Best regards, George

The work is already done, you've made it clear the guns are for sale. I'm sure you're getting plenty of messages. It says clearly in the forum rules that you can't offer guns for sale here.

I think the posting on your website directing people here to view the gun for sale is probably what did it.

Getting info is fine, that's what this website is all about. And lots of us are for the sale of guns on the forum but it's currently against the rules.

Why don't you post your phone number and several people would be glad to give you their estimate of value and would probably help you any way they could.

Van; If you click "Parker Gun Collectors Association " at the top left corner of this page ,it will put you on a page that if you scroll down you will see Want to buy and sell ,If you put your question on that page you may get more help in finding that top lever spring than on this thread . Hope this helps ! Russ
