A 20 ga. hammer gun! Please, heart be still. Good luck at the Southern, wish I could be there but South Dakota is something the dogs and I look forward to all year.

Dean Romig 10-15-2012 05:33 AM

John,
Does the "Heart Breaker" have any specific features that earned it that name, such as all of the inlaid gold hearts in Bill Murphy's "Gold Hearts Parker"?

John Truitt 10-15-2012 10:34 AM

the Heartbreaker is Dave Fjellines. You all will have to ask him.
I do know that very soon she will be fitted with 410, 28, 20, and 16 bore barrels.

Chuck Bishop 10-15-2012 11:13 AM

Dr. John, you certainly won't be under gunned!

Michael Murphy 10-15-2012 11:39 AM

Good luck Dr. John.
I'm afraid that I have the same "problem" as Double Lab.
South Dakota calls!
I'll have to adjust my schedule for next year.

edgarspencer 10-15-2012 05:56 PM

Hmmmm. 32", 34", 34" 34" 32".............. Is there a fence out there missing some posts?

Bill Murphy 10-15-2012 06:21 PM

Dr. Truitt, who built the barrels for EACH of these guns?

Bill Murphy 10-15-2012 06:27 PM

Dr. Truitt, the "Gold Hearts Gun" has both 30" and 34" barrels, both splinter and beavertail forends, but, unfortunately, has a Parker single trigger, gold plated, that is a bit unreliable. Apparently it was not a problem for Annie Oakley, but it has become touchy in recent years.

John Truitt 10-15-2012 07:43 PM

Mr Murphy,

They are all original parker barrels except for The Grave Digger.

As you can tell I do not care for single triggers or ejectors.

Bill Murphy 10-15-2012 08:56 PM

Tell me about it.

Mills Morrison 10-16-2012 09:36 AM

Looking forward to seeing you and your group in Georgetown :bigbye:

John Truitt 10-16-2012 09:53 AM
