Frank C, Steve H, Pete L,Bob F, Bill J, and i shot a few rounds of skeet tues. at Major Waldrens Sportsmens Ass.in Barrington NH. We all shot better than we did in PA a few weeks ago:rotf: fun had by all:) (you can see Bill J in the back on station 8 low house)

And Scott, you shot that new "B" so well, you need to keep it:whistle: Oh, and it was nice of you to not mention what Frank was shooting.............even though he shot it well:corn:

Dave Suponski 06-20-2012 08:12 PM

Wow, I almost didn't recognize the place without snow on the ground.... What a crew.....

Frank Cronin 06-20-2012 09:13 PM

A great time and beautiful weather for getting together for a shoot even though it took me like two hours to get there fighting all that rush hour traffic which usually takes me just a little over an hour....

Yep, I know...... what was I thinking showing up with a LC pre-13 grade three with Chain Damascus when everyone is shooting Parkers.......?

I'll get it right next time.... See you all soon........

Dean Romig 06-20-2012 10:47 PM

Now I know what the members are feeling when they wait for the USPS to get Parker Pages to them in a timely manner.... My invitation to Tuesday night's shoot still hasn't arrived :crying:

Hey, someone has to make a good showing shooting an Elsie this year... it may as well be a Parker guy.

Dean, Dave and all.

Major Waldron's shoots traditional skeet (but we do singles on report, and low gun by choice) every Tues evening starting around 5. Trap Shooting on Wed at 5ish. All non members of the club are welcome. We recently had a rate increase due to the high cost of birds (which I don't agree with but that is another story). Non-Member rounds are $5. 10 round punch cards can be purchased for $45.

It was helpful that Frank shot his LC, when he brings his 5 frame hammer 10ga and full house BP loads the club is required to notify the regional US Geological Service monitoring station before firing.

Stephen Hodges 06-21-2012 08:43 AM

Hey Dean, come on up............................I'll even let you buy me dinner:rolleyes:

we(i) didn't want someone there to make us look bad:rotf:

John Liles 06-21-2012 04:17 PM

Dean Dean Dean...Hopefully none of them Elsie guys will chime in about "good showings" and hammer guns! Touche!:)

Dean Romig 06-21-2012 09:58 PM

"Touche" indeed John - and well deserved. The LCSCA boys bested the PGCA handily in the Hammergun Challenge

John Liles 06-22-2012 06:55 AM

Dean, please pardon the probably misspelled French! Look forward to meeting you in Georgetown, and Lizard is already talking about trying to borrow the good Dr.'s 34" 16 gauge again for the team competition. Fit her like a glove!

Ed Blake 06-22-2012 07:35 AM

Poor girl. No 34" Parker 16 to call her own. What kind of father are you John Liles? :-)

John Liles 06-22-2012 07:49 AM

HaHa, Until now she probably thought I was OK, and hopefully she'll not read this and change her mind! Thanks Ed! If the good Dr. was to decide that he wanted to adopt a daughter though...I might be in trouble!

Dean Romig 06-22-2012 08:04 AM

Nope, you spelled it correctly... I couldn't find an 'accent' key to put one over the 'e'.

I'll be there and hope to meet you both too.
