The purpose of this thread is to post and search Hang Tags that exist in the hands of PGCA members.
Like many members of PGCA who love all things Parker, I have accumulated many hang tags BUT I dont have a darn tag for any of my Parkers.
You will be able to search this thread by opening the search tab and typing in your serial number. That search will review this thread as well as the entire forum database.
If you find that someone has a tag that matches your gun, PM that member and ask for a copy or scan. If you can negotiate for ownership by cash, swapping or whatever, great. but just to have a copy would be wonderful. IMHO

Reynolds awakens from long winters nap to be a wise butt.

Just picked up an interesting tag, 107255. It illustrates the fact that Parker built 2 5/8" chambers for 2 3/4" shells. It is a 30" 12 at 8 pounds, 4 ounces, possibly a #3 frame gun.

Charles, please separate your serial number from all other letters, numbers, and punctuation so it can be identified by the "search" function.

Now I notice that I put punctuation after serial number 107255 in an earlier post.

I have a tag 12758 in the original walnut box with shells and accessories would like to find the gun and put them back together, I will sell, or buy the gun if found, should be a 10 since all the shells in the box are 10-A, Gary

Late Remington Hang Tags
 

I purchased the hang tag for 242275 so I could put it in my upcoming article on late Remington guns.
Does anyone have tags for any 241000 or 242000 guns?
This is the first one I have seen.

George, tag for 242103 exists--at least it did when I owned the gun. A NIB Remington VHE 28 gauge. Also 174365, a DH 12 gauge that I still own. The latter gun was the first Parker I ever bought. Superb original condition that came out of a hunting camp in Theresa, NY. I am the second owner of the gun.

The Case is exactly like Annie Oakley case elephant Skin leg o mutton sold @ julias that she held her parker in. No name on case but brass hardware is stamped CT and town in ct.

Hey. I will trade you a brick from the Parker factory for some of that dust.

We come into things however we can when we have the opportunity. With the tags, It is not so much about the collecting, I think the purpose of this thread is mainly to try and re-unite the original tags with the guns that they belong to.

Todd, and others..... You need to separate the serial number from any other characters or punctuation marks. In other words, the only thing preceding or following a serial number should be a space - else the serial number can't be brought up in a search.
