Puppy Pics

5 Attachment(s)
Well being without a dog for two weeks left us always feeling like something was missing so I would like to introduce our new eight week old Britt pup Shea. I had forgotten a lot of the issues that go with new with puppies like getting up every two hours at night and the sharp little teeth but it will all be worth it for the next twelve to fourteen years of joy she will bring:).

1.The ride home.
2.The grandkids were happy to meet her.
3.Not everyone was so impressed.
4.First day at the office and she brought a friend.
5.We both work too hard.

Wow. Eva and I are envious. Linda and I were Spanielites before Eva. Congratulations.

As Charles Shultz put it "happiness is a warm puppy"

Been getting pictures lately of weeks old setter pups from the English Setter line we have.

Way too much fun to see.

Larry, When you called me Sunday and told me that you and Deb were driving through NYC and how much you loved it my sides were hurting......:rotf: But it seems the trip was well worth it! Shea is adorable and I can't wait to meet her. Brittany's hold a special place in my heart. Congratulations to the both of you! Shea has a wonderful life ahead of her with parents such as yourselves.

Driving thru NYC?? Where' Shea from?? Is she named after the old Shea Stadium. Those Mets used to drive me nuts.

Angel,
Shea was actually born in southern New Jersey. When I started looking for a new pup I was checking websites all over New England. I recalled a thread on our website about a month ago when a member asked for Brittney breeders in either NH or VT. Another member from Iowa gave a strong recommendation to Quail Hollow Kennels. I recall thinking there had to be a lot of breeders between Iowa and South Jersey so what made Jeff Christie by three dogs from a breeder so far away? Well after meeting Steven DelRossi and seeing his operation I now know why. If all goes well I hope to get this little girl a sister either next year or shortly after depending on how her training goes.

I hear you Larry. Getting her a sister is a good idea, Brittney's do betther with a companion.

Larry and Deb congrats on the new pup!! Wishing you many years of fun days afield and loveing companionship at home. Enjoy the puppy breath and 2 am potty training while it lasts.:rotf:

Anybody that says money can't buy happiness never bought a bird dog puppy. Great looking pup. Congratulations.

That is a beautiful puppy. Good luck with her. She looks pretty contented at having a nice new home with loving people around her.

Larry, congrats on your new pup, I am sure she has some big shoes to fill, Miss Brooke would be proud! Gary

Larry and Deb...

I love that first picture of Deb and the new puppy. It speaks volumes...

It depicts Deb remembering Brooke and at the same time it depicts Deb with a reserved hope that the new pup will help to fulfill a recent void that may never be completely filled... Some things can never be replaced... but Shea will be the one to show you both new horizons!

Congratulations on your Hutzpah!!

Go for it!!

I too want to extend my best regards to you. My wife , Donna, and I were gifted a seven month old Brit last summer. Trigger is now upstairs tormenting our Pomeranian. He has spent his first two semesters at "Shady Grove Kennels" and will go back for a tune up and first hunt this fall. Opps....he has switched and is now pi$$ing off the Chihuahua. This really gets loud. Gotta go!
