Gary, this is an extraordinary piece. This is the only Parker I have seen with a fishing scene and the second one with a boat, this one much more detailed than the Admiral Fletcher gun.

Just being the first 20ga is special and the first $250 grade and then the engraving!

Its wonderful and I hope to see it in person some day.

Gary, you're killin' us!

What a wonderful Parker with a unique history. A great mate to Robin's 16!

I am just happy to be the caretaker of it for a while, I have to thank another PGCA member for the lead on this piece, This is the gun that we are writing an article on for Parker pages, Spring edition,my brother Ron is helping do research on it

Dean Romig 10-19-2011 10:21 PM

Thanks Gary. I'll be sure to reserve a color page or two for the pictures.

Could you share some barrel pictures?

David Hamilton 10-23-2011 03:59 PM

The engraving looks to be in a European Art Nouveau style.I wonder who could have done it? Beautiful! David

Dave Suponski 10-23-2011 06:20 PM

David, At that time period I believe that Glahn would have been the engraver. We see some wonderful and unique engraving in this time period.

Pure Parker porn. I love it. Thanks for sharing the photos!

Mark Landskov 10-23-2011 07:36 PM

I agree, John. Gary needs to do a full layout (kinda like the stapled Playboy foldout). I need it for my computer desktop wallpaper. The missus won't object to that, that is, until I start figuring out ways to upgrade from my 20 gauge Trojan! Gentlemen, Cheers!
