Need a new stock for a 20 ga Parker reproduction.

Thanks to the folks at TSA in Newark airport , I need a new stock for a 20 ga. Parker reproduction. Anyone know where I can find a stock?

I doubt you'll be able to find a new original Reproduction stock. However, almost anything is repairable. How badly/where did it break? I broke my 28 ga Repro stock in 2 at the wrist and the repair I did is virtually invisible.

Joe. thanks.

Joe. The break is just below the safety. Do you repairs? Greg

Greg, I take my 3 Reproductions apart to clean the actions and I repaired the broken 28 ga and refinished the stock/recut the checkering (as well as refinishing/recheckering about 8 other guns), but I am not a gunsmith and do not have an FFL. I might be able to fix it, but you're not dealing with a lot of experience here. Why don't you post a pic or 2 here so people can see the break and make recommendations. Here's the one I fixed:

Greg the fellow we have used to repair broken stocke is Dave Wolf 1142 Surrey Ridge Waco Tx 76706 Ph is 254-662-6431 or 254-744-9973. Shoot hiim a picture before sending the gun so he can look at and see if he could fix it Thanks. Richard Skeuse

Dave Wolf is a great broken stock fixer. He did an invisible repair on a British hammer gun that was broken into more than two pieces.

Richard, thank you. Greg

Last fall I broke my 20 gauge reproduction stock almost into. I had Craig Libhart of Susquehanna Stockworks repair it. He was able to fix it without refinishing it (at my request) by making and installing a tenon. The repair was reasonable and almost undetectable. You may contact him at his website. Larry

Larry, thanks for the lead. Greg

I have a 20 bore Buttstock I will sell

Name what you are willing to pay and maybe I can be generous...

I paid $200.- to a member here when I restocked Kathy's Repro and got a terrific piece of wood with no issues. Keep in mind that if your gun is a double trigger gun you should stay with a double trigger stock else there is no place to fit the safety mechanism. I'll be keeping the original stock but just thought I'd set a base-line price. Acouple of people wanted astronomically high prices and I'll guess they still own those stocks.

Jerry, thanks. I am interested. Can I see what you have. My broken stock 20 is a single trigger with straight stock. Greg
