GHE 410 on Guns International
 

There is a GHE 410 on Guns International(#100198957) . Any opinions as to value in today's market would be appreciated.

Where do these sellers come up with these numbers?? This one has both feet planted squarely on "the Island". Even at half the price it would sell slowly.

Buy a GHE for under 25K yeah in a minute, have you seen what V grade 410's are going for? And that gun does look like it has very nice condition. Is his price high yes but 25K is bottom feeding too. Just my two cents

Nice gun,high condition but about $10-12K high if all original.

In two years that gun will be 65K plus...better return than the stock market. It is far easier to buy a 50K gun than it is to sell one however.

Nice gun for the person who has to have a 410, don't see many like that. Seems high to me, Rich it would take a lot of blood to pay for that gun at that price. I don't think V grade 410's are worth $20,000 either but there have been many that sell for that or more.

If a person had a serious interest, he probably wouldn't be on here talking about it, but would make the seller an offer that he considered realistic. The problem with setting an unrealistically high price is that it makes the seller look like he is not the kind of person you can do business with, so why even try. But who knows, shoot him a realistic offer and see what happens, chances are he wouldn't get very many and he may only get your offer.

The highest price paid for producing farm ground last year was for a quarter of corn ground in Boone County, Iowa, at $14,000/acre. Who would have thought that either.

As much as I would like a 410 a Parker just isn't in the cards. Even I can't put together enough O.P.M. for that one:). If you have the money I'm sure it would make a great investment but things change and the bottom might just fall out. I doubt you would find anyone willing to pay $14K/ acre for corn today.

I started turning down V Grade .410s many years ago, some for an arguing factor of a couple of hundred bucks. I don't get out much, but if I had bought every one I have been offered face to face at a fair price, I would own at least a half dozen to a dozen today. Believe me, no one's company run 401 has beaten V Grade Parker .410s in the recent past. I love to listen to Parker collectors professing "I don't need any .410. What are they good for?" Give me a break.

With QE3 right around the corner and U.S. dollar depreciating further, 2-3 years from now .410s will not be the only thing costing more ....

I have always preferred something along the lines of a 20 or smaller but the Parker 410 is beyond financial responsibility but there are good 20's, & 28's out there that will outperform your 401K and their more fun toplay with.

The last two GHE-Grade Parker Bros. .410-bores I saw at the winter Las Vegas show had asking prices of $44,500 and $46,500.

The most recent GHE 410 (original) sold by Julia'a was in 2009 for $33,350.00. In the Julia auction comming up in Oct. there will be three GHE 410s according to their selected highlights.
