It's for sale and is listed as an AAHE. It's out of my price range so someone here might want to check it out as well as several other nice-looking guns listed this morning.

The AAHE is underpriced, but the reason is probably because it is listed in the SB as a V Grade, probably an upgrade but nothing is said about that in the ad. It is worth requesting some better pictures because it may be a good DelGrego-Runge upgrade.

Parkers at Durys

Yeah Dave those guys have several Parkers on GI. They obviously bought someone's collection, and some are highly altered, some appear to be somewhat original. But they really don't know what they're selling, and they don't know enough to even say what has been done to a lot of those guns. And their pictures from across the room don't help either. Getting more good pictures from them is kind of a chore too. It's a very frustrating situation. Good luck.

The contour of the fluting at the nose of the comb suggests to me it is a Runge-DelGrego upgrade.

SOLD

Interestingly enough, the shop just informed me that this gun did sell.

At least it did have good bones to do an upgrade with.

Bill Murphy 07-07-2026 01:22 PM

I wonder if the buyer knew that it was not an original AAHE? Terrible pictures, bad or non existent descriptions, too bad, they seem to have a few good guns.

I am also wondering about the same thing.

Caveat Emptor I guess….

With that price, I think they were saying "It isn't real" without saying it isn't real. It looked like a good upgrade nonetheless.

I like the configuration. Vent rib on a 30” barrel, 14 “ LOP without a pad, beaver tail fore end. Handsome gun. Might make a nice doubles trap gun.

Bill Murphy 07-07-2026 04:24 PM

There is no excuse for not advertising that the gun is not original. This seller is crooked, a scammer, you name it. He is not to be dealt with on any transaction. Let him reply to these accusations. End of story.

Maybe he just doesn’t know.

Jim DiSpagno 07-07-2026 05:28 PM

Could this be one of David Boyles guns? They have a couple of his on GB

If they didn't ,they will soon ! If it seems too good to be true ,it usually is ! I saw it first thing this morning " From across the Room " ,I liked that so I figured I would use it ! Still a Good price if it is a DelGrego/Runge upgrade as Bill said !
