Others are having the same issue as am I.

Too bad....today only, I was going to offer small bore, high grade Parkers for a significantly cut rate. But, alas....:rotf:

Daryl Corona 11-09-2025 02:24 PM

Looks like we still can't upload pictures

Mike Koneski 11-11-2025 05:04 PM

I just tried at 4:00 PM today and I can't either. I sized the photos withing the site parameters and still get a notice they are not a valid image file.

GeorgeMerrill 11-11-2025 05:55 PM

I am having the same problem today (11/11/25).

Any advice?

Dean Romig 11-11-2025 06:00 PM

Dean Weber 11-26-2025 09:10 AM

I also can't upload pictures due to the same error. Is there a workaround or fix someone has found?

Dean Romig 11-26-2025 10:08 AM

I get “This is not a valid file.”

You've got to upgrade from your Polaroid Bill.:)

Unsure if it is help to others....but thought I would share. While I can't upload pictures from my computer regardless of the resizing to spec, I can upload from my phone. I do not understand if this is a "me" problem.

I will likely post less for sale items now due to the phone causing my hands to evolve into an odd type of dinosaur appendage. Some type of evolution driving a type of mutation or genetic drift I guess.

The two replies I posted to this thread with pics previously was from my cell phone. Yesterday I tried the cell phone again, but got the not valid file message. Today this pic is posted from my iPad. I don’t know what’s up, but something is up with the program.:vconfused:

Garry L Gordon 12-02-2025 08:10 AM

Has anyone solved this problem? I cannot load pictures either with my computer nor phone.

Wayne Owens 12-02-2025 01:22 PM

I also cannot upload photos to this site.

Posted from cell phone. I earlier this morning tried from my ipad, but that didn't work. No explanation why it took this time.

Great pictures, Greg. That's One Brave Squirrel.

Maybe the squirrel is blind?

I would have thought so, too. We also have a Cooper’s Hawk that patrols the neighborhood that frequently sets up in the Black Spruce that’s behind the Owl or in one of the Oak trees just off camera. Whenever the hawk shows up every bird, squirrel or chipmunk disappears; 10 minutes later they’re all back.

Has anyone alerted John D.?

Any tips, John?

John Dunkle 12-02-2025 06:10 PM

In short, this drop of the Linux distribution I’m using has a self-healing feature - which sounds great, until it’s not…? So, as this site has a lot of custom code and features, every once in a while, a few of the files are over-written with incompatible packages… When that happens, I have to go revert those changes - most of what you see are the photo upload routines…. Anyway, I’ve been attempting to stop those new file over-writes….

So, that’s what’s happening in the background of the forum….

Best to you!

John

Dean Romig 12-02-2025 06:19 PM

As always John, Thank You SO Much for what you do for the PGCA !!

Garry L Gordon 12-02-2025 06:34 PM

Thank you, John. You never know how much you like something until it’s gone.
