In accordance with the PGCA Policies and Procedures, since the number of nominees as of January 5 th,
2026, equaled the number of Directors to be elected, Tom Wooden, Mike Franzen and Randy Roberts
will begin their new terms as Directors effective April 1 st , 2026.

Wait a minute. Does someone have to die for a new life member to be initiated? Get a life, you guys. Show me the paragraph in the bylaws.

I was going to do Life member a long time ago and read that if one came open someone could become one so I never pressed the issue and have been a member since 2008 and have almost paid for two lifetimes, so life goes on for how long nobody knows so I guess I stay with the 40/ year

Bill, it's in the bylaws that the number of Life members be limited to a specific percentage of PGCA Members.

OK, I found it. It's in the membership roster. Page 1, Article 1, Section 1, Paragraph 1, 25% of total membership can be life members. The question is, where do we stand right now? Thanks, Dean.

I there are more who want to become lifers, why not change the bylaws? Reduced long term revenue?

Dean Romig 01-18-2026 12:46 PM

I believe Tom Wooden is the Membership Chairman and these questions should be directed to his attention.

I wouldn't worry much about long term revenue. Most of us are not likely to outlast the term of a life membership versus annual dues. The young guys who will outlast the term deserve it. I think you know what I mean. :corn:

More than most Bill, today being my 78th birthday.... I'll time out soon and make room for a newcomer.
