BROKE IN MY NEW VHE 20 GAUGE
3 Attachment(s)
Cody and I had a great day Pheasant hunting here in NH this afternoon. Ten or so solid points, many misses, but I managed to knock down my two bird limit. I never tire of watching him work. I was hunting my new to me 20 Gauge VHE that I Purchased at Hausmans in June, with 28" ic/mod barrels and a Parker Single trigger which works as it should.

That's a great gun Steve. Shot this big cock bird today in fading light with my old VHE 20.
This gun has been beat to hell, not by me. Barrels cut to 26.5 in from 28. Zero bluing on barrels, no case color, and stock is cracked at the head, and pitted barrels. In other words. A great little grouse gun . Only had one shot today and got this nice cock bird over Willie . |
That is a great grouse gun Harold.

Cylinder/Full is a great combination. It’s interesting how many of my Ithaca’s are so choked. Those craftsmen knew something.
