Yes Armusa are great shells.

Dean H Hanson 10-01-2025 08:03 PM

I like them.

Clark McCombe 10-01-2025 09:11 PM

Yes, they’re good, wish they made a 20 ga

Gerald McPherson 10-02-2025 05:50 PM

Where can we get them?

Other than rst, does anyone have a source for a lighter load 16 ga?
I use the Fiocchi field and dove for clay shooting and. Know the Parker can take it, but it does have a little kick to it.

The Armusa loads for 16g are light/low pressure for vintage guns correct???

Clark McCombe 10-03-2025 01:11 PM

Yes
The armusa, like rst is a light load that I use in my hammer gun. Armusa is a little less expensive than rst, but sometimes out of stock.
I was hoping to find a low recoil like the Fiocchi 1075 fps to use in my Parker VH 16 ga

The 16 ga 2 1/2 in at 6600 psi would be even lower in a 3 inch chamber correct?

Clark McCombe 10-03-2025 11:10 PM

I’m not an expert at this,
Perhaps someone else could weigh in.

Yes, the pressure would be lower but not significantly so. Velocity would be somewhat lower too.
