Case Repair

6 Attachment(s)
A recently acquired AHE came to me housed in an original PB case that was in dire need of attention. I contacted Matthew Hanson who added a new belt, repaired the mount, new latch strap, 3 pouch straps and latches, and a whole bunch of conditioning. A few before and after pics. Turned out quite nice. Thanks Matto !

Matt does amazing work, he has done two cases for me and I couldn’t be happier with his work. Not only is his attention to detail and quality of work high quality he also does a great job with communication.

What a great case, Randy. What a nice restoration, Matt.

Bobby Cash 03-01-2025 03:12 PM

Nice case.
I’ve got a Heiser satchel with 3 straps in need of replacement.
Google search wasn’t very helpful.
Got a phone number?

Before pictures look a whole lot like me and anyone can tell it feels a whole lot better. I wonder what he would charge to go over me like that. Looks great.

Matthew Hanson 03-02-2025 02:17 PM

Jezzz, I'm even impressed with my work. Randy it looks amazing!! That case is a case that Parker sold to the owner.

Refurbishing a leather case

Hi all. I just joined the PGCS, mainly to find Matthew Hanson. I can't seem to figure out how to PM him so if anybody can put him in touch with me, I'd like to talk to him about refurbishing an all leather single barrel trunk case. It's not in too bad of shape but needs a new handle attached. Any help would be appreciatiated

Dean, I did find him there but could find no contact information.

You can send him a PM.... or me, as I am his brother and live 15 minutes from him.

Scott , When you " Click " Matts name on the members list ,his Profile should pop up ,when it does on the left side of the page you should see a box that says " Send Matt Hanson a PM " click that and the Mail Message box will pop up ,type your message and hit send and it is the same as sending an E-Mail ,you are not able to send pictures through the PM ! Hope this helps !
Russ
