Trojan Dolls Head

I'm sure most of us reading this remember the " Parkers Found " section that used to be in The Parker Pages ,always one of my favorite sections of the magazine since I seem to like to search out the odd barrel lengths and such ! With all that said does anyone know the serial # of the last ,20 Gauge Parker Trojan with the " Dolls Head Extension " or at least the last known ,I'm expecting Dean to know the answer pretty quickly on this one ? By the way whatever happened to the Parkers Found section ?:corn:

Just a rib extension. No dolls head on a Trojan.

Russ Jackson 02-17-2025 09:10 AM

Brian I know that !!!I believe that is what most folks call it ! Do you happen to know the answer to my question ???

I think the Parkers Found list would make a great members only portion of the forum.

Daryl Corona 02-17-2025 10:15 AM

I might just have it Russ. 20ga Trojan, 26" 208009.

Dean Romig 02-17-2025 10:44 AM

My 16 gauge Trojan 202066 is the last known 16 with the extension. I can’t comment on the 20 gauge.

I too miss the Parkers Found column.

Maybe I should have said that 208009 is in my safe as we speak.

I am pretty sure that Josh was maintaining the Parkers Found list. And as I recall it was being published in PP annually or something like that. So Josh or the Editors would be the ones to check with on that.

Dean Romig 02-17-2025 11:52 AM

Josh’s column was “Parkers Found” and was a periodically updated and published collection of serial numbers of Parkers with unique features or first of or last of or only…

The reason I ask ,there is a 20 Trojan listed today on GB ,Serial # 206078 ,with the extension ,just seemed fairly late to me to have the rib extension ! I'm not a buyer for it although if it were the latest # ,I may have been !!!!

Dean, my 1923 16 gauge Trojan, serial number 204716, has an extended rib. It’s a 28 inch Modified/Full.

And here is one of the reasons we all miss the Parker's Found section in the Parker Pages !

Contact Josh Loewensteiner and ask him to list yours as the latest.

Josh would update the list and send it to us when there were enough additions to warrant a new article. I seem to recall it’s been 2-3 years since the last installment.

It should be run at least once annually.
