Why do you want to refinish it? Is the checkering gone? Barrel blue really thin?

Have any pictures to share?

If someone would be kind to let me text pictures. GW

The English have a different opinion on refinishing than we do. It is quite common to refresh the guns after a few seasons. This can be a simple application of wood finish, to entirely doing the gun over, including bluing and case hardening. it's pretty uncommon to see a best gun in a ridden hard, put away wet condition.

Grayson,
I sent you a PM. Ken |

I wouldn’t refinish this pair. They look pretty nice.

A light application and rub out of Johnson's Paste Wax on the wood and barrels would do wonders for those guns. A refinish would be a big mistake.

I agree with Ken and Bill. A refinish seems unwarranted. Maybe a strip/clean to be sure of function, if that.
I can’t read the maker… |

Thanks to Ken for the help with the pictures. Grayson
