Parker Wish List/Goals for 2025?? How about You??
I would like to find a couple of Parker catalogs to fill in my collection in 2025. I have nothing on my 2025 wish list but am always looking to upgrade my Parker collection. Maybe a AAHE 12ga #2 frame 30". :):):) How about you?
|
I would like to find a purpose built Parker duck gun. 12 gauge just for the sake of ammo availability. My meager collection of Parkers are mainly upland guns. Long barrels and heavy!
|
I’ve mentally been out of the buying mode for a few tears but every once in a while I surprise myself by buying a Parker that I just need to buy…
Not where I want to be but some things just can’t be avoided. . |
20 gauge with 32” barrels in a DHE to go along with my LC Smith 32” Specialty grade.
|
I'm looking to downsize this year and move guns I don't shoot or hunt with.
|
Can’t think of a thing, which means I’ll probably wind up with something.

I want to find and buy the (very possibly) last 8 gauge Parker built, a CH grade nontheless, c. 1918, notation being "Ship to DuPont ballistic laboratory, Wilmington Delaware." Maybe a ballistic foil to the outlaw of the 8 gauge for use on waterfowl that year under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act passed that year?
|
A modest goal: to become more familiar with the Parker grades and production.
I am constantly going back to the home page to figure out what I'm looking at, so I know what I'm wishing for! |
Over the past few years I've cut my collection and kept only the hunting and shooting guns that I use. Now I'm on the upswing and looking for a very few original straight grips and SBT guns that trip my trigger so to speak. Foxes, Parkers and Ithaca NID's.

It will come Clark, it will come.
Do you have The Parker Story or any of the other books focused on Parkers? If you don’t, you most definitely should. . |
An untouched hammer gun to shoot a turkey with this spring. A 20 would be awesome, 16 would be great, 12 will work. Tighter choke the better. The bigger the bore the better the condition and grade.
|
An all original VH or Trojan 20 that I can hunt grouse with. Nice original, but not so nice that I would be afraid to carry it in the woods.
Double Lab??? |
Probably going to sell a few Parker 20s and a Repro 28 gauge. Don't really have anything in particular on my "wish list", but I am sure something will come along.
|
It always does Reggie...
. |
I’m still in selling mode . But if one of the factory original EH 26” guns could be bought right I’d most likely bite . Same for the factory original EH 24” . If a lightly used Ponsness Warren LS-1000 10 gauge loader popped up at a reasonable price again I’d most likely bite .
|
I would like a modern dimensioned 26" Trojan in 20 for birds (real birds meaning ruffed grouse and bogsuckers). And perhaps my first hammer gun in 16.
|
The same this year as it has been for many now. I would like to find a DH(E) 16 gauge that has a long length of pull (or in need of a new stock) with IMP & MOD chokes with the original SSBP. Oh yes, and one that I can afford.

No Craig I haven't. I'd looked for one like that for a long time and it's a keeper. Proceeds from previous sales of safe sitters funded it. Good example of being at an event and letting friends know what you're looking for. Thanks to Craig and Randy. This one was sitting idle on its case on a tailgate :)
|
Andy, if I decide to sell my very nice Trojan 20, you'll be the first I'll contact.
