16g correct?
|
Thanks Brian
|
Has anybody else seen a stock with straighter grain?
|
Good and strong.
|
Some updated pictures of this fantastic gun under the announcement section!
|
Just wondering whats the average profit for the PGCA with these Raffles?
|
The PGCA Raffle Gun revenue is only a bit less than the revenue generated by Research Letters.
It used to be the standard practice of the BOD to publish in Parker Pages an annual snapshot of the PGCA balance sheet. . |
Who cares about the profit the PGCA receives; I purchase a membership at a modest cost, I can attain the history of many of my guns, The forum is an education on Parkers, and I am offered guns at fair prices on the forum. The bargain doesn't stop there because they send me a magazine that I receive 4 times a year. Since the PGCA is a nonprofit, there is no profit.

We all should care quite a lot about the revenues to the PGCA that are generated by various sources - the raffle gun ticket sales, the Annual Silent Auction, membership revenues, and a few others.
The PGCA and all of the benefits it provides doesn’t just happen… they cost real money and that money has to come from someplace. We all should really care about the profitability, the bottom line, of the PGCA because without the revenue we need, the PCGA would cease to exist. . |
The raffle gun is a major source of revenue which helps offsets the membership costs (Parker Pages) that are no longer covered by the annual dues. We have generated after expenses between $18k and $25k annually since I took on the role of Raffle Gun Chair.
Thanks everyone for your support of the premier American double gun organization. |

Brian (and Cindy) do an extraordinary service to the Association which benefits all of us. Thanks to both of them, and all of the other members who contribute so much.

I am a new PGCA Member. How do I go about purchasing raffle tickets?
|
We typically mail out tickets to new members each week but we are a couple weeks behind. The next batch will go out a week from today. The other speedy option is for you to mail me a check for the number of tickets you like - Instructions and my address on the first page of this thread - 1 for $5 or 6 for $25 and I will mail you back the stubs or can text you a picture of your stubs. That has worked very well for folks!
Call with any questions Brian 419-379-4414 |
And there’s no limit to the number of tickets you can buy.
Back in 2007 I bought $200 of tickets and was lucky enough to win the gun. Of course there are no guarantees but the number of tickets you but can affect your chances of winning. . |
Thank you tickets arrived today in the mail.
|
A reminder to members, it’s time to get those tickets in the mail. No time like the present especially if you are a procrastinator like me!!!
Heave a great weekend Parker friends! |
