That last picture, a Grade 4 Bernard barreled hammer gun is wonderful. Who might be the proud custodian?

Charlie, Actually that big fellow (his size makes the gun look smaller) was totin a 4ga, weight 18lbs.:cool:
|
My goodness. 18lbs! The display there of all those Parkers is quite amazing just from the seeing pictures. What it must be like in person I can only imagine what you would see in the Parker and LC Smith tent. I guess I just convinced myself I should go next year. Great job team Parker and good luck on the hammer gun event today!
|
I was told yesterday that, besides the hundreds (thousands?) of guns for sale in all the big tents, there were over 100 Parkers for sale
Maybe it's a good thing I didn't go after all  |

That BIG FELLA with the 18# 4-bore E.M. Reilly is Bill McPhail. I had my 4-bore Reilly there as well.

Danny and I had a fantastic time, saw a lot of old friends and burned a bunch of powder.Everyone who worked so hard to put on this great event should give themselves one big pat on the back. This was by far the most fun we ever had at a shooting event! The PGCA/LCSCA tent was a huge hit and the location was perfect. Thank you all for the memory of a lifetime.....:bowdown
1) Daryl Middlebrooks display of "Long Barreled Parkers" 2)Eric Eis, COB,Allan Swanson and John Davis 3)Daryl Middlebrook and RST's "Ambassador of Good Will" Morris Baker |

Dean that Bernard C grade hammer gun is/was for sale @ $6500. Nice condition, good deminsions. I just can't think of the owners name...but I can find out for you if you wish.
|
Wow Rich, it took you a long time to get home. I guess that happens when you need to stop in all those small towns along the way to buy home-baked cookies. :nono:
|
Dean,
We all missed the cookies but the venison jerky was a big hit this year.:) |
I hope "you know who" didn't run off with a couple of bags of it.
|
Jent, what is the significance of the Franklin and the wall thickness gauge??
|
Mr. R,
Not significant. Its just a Dave Fjelline thing. He made about a dozen wall thickness gauges and was selling them for $100 each. He had just sold that one to Carl just before the picture was taken. Just having fun. |
Thanks John - I thought you all were measuring the thickness of currency to see it that too is being made cheaper
