Bigger is better

We know that NobelSport shotgun primers are available in 10,000 count boxes. Looks like Cheddite has one better = 18,000 count. Pic taken in vendor row today at the PA State Trap shoot in Elysburg. Good deal for some friends to divvy up ......

Haha I would have jumped on that big time. Best time to fortify the bunker is yesterday.

Not a bad price; just a big bill!

Geiser also had Cheddites at $59.99/$275.00 per k/5k respectively, again plus tax. Best deal on Cheddites was at Line Mountain at $75. per 1500 primers (5 trays of 300 primers each); first time I saw the 300 count trays which WILL NOT fit into a MEC primer feeder, must be transferred to the common 100 count trays first. Not a big deal with a magnetic pickup gizmo as many use for Nobelsports 209's in the bulk 1000 count trays. Becky from LM told me the 300 count Cheddite trays are the same as in the 18,000 count boxes of Cheddites @ $800. + tax. The only Alliant powders I saw FS were E3 and American Select @ $54.99 + tax in one pounders. |
Frank is the actual store for Geiser Gunsirks in Waynesboro PA ? Thought maybe the name of the store was kind of a take off on the fact that Geiser steam engines were manufactured in Waynesboro .

Stopped at CAC on the way to Hausmanns. Picked up Nobelsports for $48/1000, and Cheddite were $56

I’m glad I stocked up on them three years ago for 20 bucks a brick…lol

So far I've loaded about 4000 NS primers without a single misfire or any other problem. The NS primers are a tight fit for first loading in 12 ga Rem Gun Club steel base hulls, even those that had been reloaded 3-4 times with Cheddite primers. That's with a MEC 9000 progressive. No problem in the 9000 with NS's and real brass bases as in Win AA, and Rem STS and Nitro hulls. Just last week and after a long wait I got a P-W 800 Plus progressive press to replace my old 9000, and it easily handles NS primers in any and all hulls. :)
