Michiganders to the Southern

To my fellow Michigan Parker "Gentlemen" going to the Southern.
I wish you well and God speed in your travels.
Shoot straight, go easy on the cocktails, and have a big fat cigar for me.
I will be thinking of you guys as I put another coat of paint on the house trim.
I thought I was done, but can't get gutters to match the new trim color, so I'm painting it again, 2 shades darker. :crying: :cuss: :banghead:

Dave, you are the person my Lovely Linda always wanted me to be. Unfortunately, she is being disappointed by the second husband in a row. Her late husband is a wonderful friend of mine who shot and hunted more days a year than I do, many of which he spent with me. Oh well.

Rich Anderson 04-27-2011 08:15 PM

Thanks Dave I wish you were comeing along also. I'll miss a target, drink a beer and enjoy a cigar for you.

Dave, Just do the damned chores and get them done; not likely, there's always more. When faced with the situation I like to take Pete, the dog, out for a workout in the field and woods. Pete's a great therapist for dealing with the guilt of procrastination. Anyway, I won't be able to make to Sanford either and I wish (expect) victory for the Parker Team. I fully intend to make the Yooper this year for the first time; you going to do it?

Fred

C.O.B. you're cruel!!

Dave, I'm staying home too and my good thoughts and best wishes go out to those who will make the trip.

Good shooting guys... and may you take back the Cup!

It is not going to be the same.... Dave as you know I don't shoot straight and now the Doc says I have to take it easy on the cocktails and the cigar is a total "no" I wish you were coming with us. Well there is always the UP shoot.:) Maybe..?

Jeff Kuss 04-27-2011 10:08 PM

Well it is still raining in Indiana. I can't plant corn, so I will be at the Southern by noon on Friday provided that Delta is on time.
Jeff

 Eric, say it ain't so!! I'd be lookin' for a short rope and a tall tree  Or at least a short barreled Parker with a trigger guard big enough that my big toe would fit in. :violin:

We've got a frog-strangler going on the Au Sable. Flow rates are record high. Pray for my dock

Dave Suponski 04-27-2011 10:44 PM

Robin is here from New Hampshire. We just got all the guns put away that were layin all over the kitchen table. We are outta here 4 AM bound for Sanford.

Dave, I really wish you were comin down! Will we see ya at Hidden Hollow?

John Dunkle 04-27-2011 10:50 PM

All you folks have safe travels, OK? And remember, PLEASE TAKE PICTURES!

:)

John

Dean Romig 04-27-2011 10:55 PM

We have a whole contingent of "picture takers". I'm confident we'll have some great pictures. The one picture I want to see is Team Parker posing with a "hard won" Challenge Cup!!

Dean Romig 04-27-2011 10:59 PM

Dave, you boys better hit the hay - 4 a.m. comes awful dang early.... get to bed and stop tellin' those lies about Parkers you all could of bought.

I will be praying for the dock Mr. D.

I hope the water is down in two weeks and the trout are hungry for some flies.

No one will be fishing this opener, that's for sure. Hopefully, everything will have settled down by the time you arrrive for our float.

My turkey license opens up shortly, but unfortunately, the 4 toms that had been hanging around have left. Gonna make the job much harder

Destry L. Hoffard 04-28-2011 05:32 PM

I'm leaving tomorrow evening for the EDM Memorial Service on Saturday morning. You boys have fun.....
