A new book on American Doubles has just been published! It is 265 pages of top quality American Double Barrel Shotguns featuring The Eric Klein Collection. The book is coffee table size format with amazing detailed photographs which will be a reference for generations to come.

The first commercially available signed copy will be sold at auction during the PGCA Annual Meeting and Banquet in Sanford with all sales proceeds benefiting the Parker Gun Foundation (think tax deduction!).

This book is full of eye candy and a “must have” for anyone who loves American Doubles!

See you in Sanford!

I got a hands-on look at Josh's hard work this weekend and do not know if there is a finer publication on the subject.

Phillip Carr 04-08-2024 12:31 PM

Josh please put me down for a copy.

Stan Hillis 04-09-2024 07:08 AM

Josh, I'm interested in a copy, too. Will you be at the Bray's Island Exposition this year? I assume it's the weekend before the Southern, as in the past?

Jerry VanHorn 04-09-2024 08:01 AM

JOSH...Add my name to your list...........

Josh Loewensteiner 04-09-2024 08:59 AM

Brays Island Expo is not planned for the week before the Southern this year. It may be scheduled for November in 2024, but I am not certain.

Thank you all so much for your interest and support. The book is a compilation of choice quality American Doubles from Mr. Klein’s incredible collection. The photos are amazing - and literally larger than life with the book being coffee table sized. It is hard bound with a chapter on each of the biggest American Makers including Fox, Parker, Lefever, L.C. Smith, Ithaca, Winchester.

I’m compiling a list of interested parties.

The books will retail at $300 plus shipping of $40 via FedEx 2nd day service. It is my sincere hope that the first book being sold at the Foundation dinner/PGCA annual meeting raises at least $1,000 to benefit the organization! (Again, that would be mostly tax deductible)!

Thank you again for your interest. This is a book you will love for years with many dream guns pictured and described in great detail - most of which are exceedingly rare and in fantastic condition!

Bob Decker 04-09-2024 09:14 AM

Josh, put me down for a copy. I will be at the Southern.

Eric Klein Collection

I had an opportunity a few years ago to view Eric’s collection of fine American doubles and will have to say it is the most beautiful and complete collection in the USA if not the world!! The small bores and especially the .410’s are second to none!

Mills Morrison 04-11-2024 09:41 AM

I have seen the collection as well and it is breathtaking. The display set up itself is amazing

Chuck Bishop 04-11-2024 10:11 AM

So who is Eric Klein? We've done exactly 1 research letter for him in 2009. Can somebody give a short biography about this guy?

Bill Murphy 04-11-2024 01:09 PM

Read the 2018 thread that I just brought to the top. The Garden and Gun website will show the article from December 2018 about Mr. Klein and his collection. Josh's book will show and tell more.
