Let's see your GH(E) Parkers
2 Attachment(s)
I enjoyed Mills Morrison's multi part article on Grade 2 guns in PP very much but the small pictures published in PP are hard to see any detail. As Mills pointed out there are many differences in Grade 2 guns. So let's see pictures of your Grade 2 Parkers.
Here are my two, a GH 8ga circa 1912 and a 1907 GH 1 12ga frame. |

The pictures don’t give the most detail , but my hands are kinda tied at the moment with what’s on my phone . The gun in these two pics is a circa 1889 EH 10 gauge 2 frame with 30” barrels from an November tower shoot .

I have an 1899 GH 12 gauge I will post pics of as soon as I can figure out how to do it.

GH(E) Parkers

These GH parkers are 16 and 20 gauge guns. The top gun is a 28" damascus 16 GH that fits really well and is a great rooster gun. The GH Roundel engraved gun has been discussed here before. The 20 GH is a 30" steel barrel gun that is choked tight for doves and pheasant. The two barrel set GHE is 20 and 16 damascus with 26" barrels. It has taken some time to accumulate these and some needed work, but all are good shooters. These guns were all made before 1910. I am partial to the g grades as they are not over the top but nice enough for me.

Craig - To the best of our knowledge this is the only example of a GH with the roundelle style of engraving that has ever surfaced. About 12 years ago Tom and I were competitors bidding against each other on this unique Parker. If my memory serves me correctly Tom has given me first refusal should he ever decide to part with it. . |

Some pictures of my GHE 16ga Skeet Gun. I apologize for the links, I'm really mentally tired right now.

Wow, that's a beautiful Skeet gun and the engraving is very similar to mine.

This is my first Parker shotgun. It was given to me by Shelly Gitman when I was a teenager, and I’m honored to have had Shelly as a friend. At one time, he owned all three (3) Invincibles, serial number 100,000, and shot on the Israeli trap team. This gun is a high condition GH with 30” barrels, and a pistol grip.

GH 12 gauge 2 barrel set
5 Attachment(s)
This is my GH 12 gauge 2 barrel set with the original set of Damascus barrels and a "new" set of 28" Vulcan steel barrels. The Vulcan barrels are very new looking and fit perfectly, so my assumption is that the owner had Meriden make and fit a new set for the gun. As has been talked about here, the lower grade barrels were less money, so my guess is that's why they're Vulcan and not Parker Special steel for this GH gun. Each barrel set has its own forend and the forend lug hangers are marked 1 & 2.
