Serial number look up please

163527

Reggie Bishop 10-29-2023 02:31 PM

12 gauge Trojan with 28” barrels.

Brett Souder 10-29-2023 02:33 PM

Wow! So it’s not a 20 ga. AAH with 26” barrels.
Thank you!

Brett, did you view the SN personally? I noticed the hinge pin does not have a slot in it which I assume was a Trojan thing? If this is all correct someone went to a lot of trouble to make an AAH out of a Trojan......

I don't think I am going to step on any toes with a link. I called to verify the SN and was told there were 10 people in line for the gun and the first caller was on his way to pick it up.

Thoughts on how this came to be? Maybe a mistake in the book?

I have been hoping whoever bought it would be on here telling us all what it really is ! I contacted them very early but to no avail ,I know it is unbelievable but so far no return call or E Mail !!!:rotf: Of course I knew there wouldn't be !:rotf:

That is a 1913 serial number, long before the Brothers P began offering a beavertail forearm. Certainly, didn't leave Meriden as an AAH.

I notice the jackasses at Cabela's conveniently neglected to show areas of the gun that would give us some clues. Oh, well.

Phil Yearout 12-06-2023 02:14 PM

Boy, just what I'd want: a 20ga that weighs almost 8 pounds .

joe tilford 12-06-2023 02:25 PM

Nearly 8 pounds and a 20 gauge?

Harold Lee Pickens 12-06-2023 05:59 PM

Phil, i thought the same thing
something stinky in Helsinki .

David Livesay 12-06-2023 07:54 PM

What does that come out to? I don't have my book handy.

Record does not exist in my book.

David Livesay 12-07-2023 06:05 PM

I thought I could see the last 3 numbers in one of the pictures. Looked like 327, so I thought maybe a couple numbers were switched around somehow.

Russ Jackson 12-07-2023 09:22 PM

So ,does anyone know if one of the PGCA members bought this gun and what it is exactly ? By the one post it would appear someone near to the Dundee MI. Store must have got it If they were driving up to get it !
