Dave, were there instructions on how to post pics or is it the same as the other site?

Dave Miles 11-18-2008 02:39 PM

Larry, it's kinda the same as the other site.
I'm still learning myself.

Dave is right - but, there are some other things happening on my servers?? For example - for pics...

1) You can add them as attachments (my servers automatically resize your pics and deliver them up in a viewer for full size..)

2) Add them as links from your site (my servers automatically resize your pics and deliver them up in a viewer for full size..)

3) Add your own Album (my servers automatically resize your pics and give you the URL code and the code to insert them in a thread..)

All of these are pretty flexible - so to be able to inset a picture in a thread where you want to see them in your post??? Like here:

Bob's test post............

Best to all!

John

Hey John,
Thanks for helping me with the nice Avatar. I hope if I come up with another picture it won't automaticly keep reverting back to your "Big Bird" photo shop experiment.

John Dunkle 11-19-2008 06:58 PM

David...Its an 1886 1 frame 12ga. with 28" barrels O grade I believe. In high condition.

Rich Anderson 06-14-2009 08:31 PM

Destry the DH hammer gun I just got from Don has the fishtail top lever as does my GHE 16. They are cool:).

Now what the hell is an Avatar?

Larry Frey 06-15-2009 07:25 AM

Rich it's the little picture under your name. If I could access the old site I would grab that cookie monster pic of you. That would be classic.:rotf:

Rich Anderson 06-15-2009 09:00 AM

Larry,
I'm sure Dean still has it on his camera. If he does have him put it on there.

Those cookies served me well on the long drive back.

Don Kaas 06-15-2009 09:29 AM

Rich- it's a "D" hammer gun or Grade 3 toplever not a DH:nono:...we need to get you into hammer gun speak..

Dean Romig 06-15-2009 09:39 AM

Rich, I still have that one and some even better but are probably not appropriate for family viewing :corn:

Just trying to learn how to post a photo...

Rich Anderson 06-15-2009 08:55 PM

Don I'll chalk up the extra "H" to fat fingers and a slow mind.

Dean if you can post the picture go ahead and get..R..done:bowdown:

Robert Delk 07-09-2009 05:52 PM

I certainly do covet that bottom gun. What kind of walnut is that?

Destry L. Hoffard 07-09-2009 08:28 PM

I'm sure Don will reply in a few days, he's in Argentina at the moment. And I'm not with him I'm sad to say.....

DLH

Don Kaas 07-13-2009 02:39 PM

Robert- although sold to me as a rough blank of crotch figured Juglans nigra (eastern black walnut) once the blank was cut to the stock pattern I believe it to be "western black walnut" or wild grown Juglans hindsii. A bit too fancy of a G grade waterfowler but eye catching to say the least. The top stock on the D grade steel barreled gun is Juglans regia or English walnut from California in this case.
