Did you call Connecticut Shotgun directly? I thought they still listed them.

James Palmer 03-23-2023 09:09 PM

Yes. No luck.

I don't think Brians screws are all slotted or the complete set of screws offered by Galazan.Brian can probably offer you many of sizes you need used if he cannot supply new.

Brian Dudley 03-24-2023 06:19 AM

Galazan has been out of them for a while. And as it was, the last few years that they had them, I was hearing a lot of reports of the trigger plate screws having the wrong thread pitch and being useless.

Screws I have were made for me by a local machine shop. I am currently not selling them anymore so that I can reserve inventory for jobs that I have to do.

Thanks everyone.

Check with Lou Rotelli. He has made/ replaced screws for me and he is very reasonable. He made the screws for this Philadelphia Gun Company Fox.

James, why dont you speak with Brian off line and ask him if he would assist you having a set made by the machine shop that made screws for Brian.

Brian Dudley 04-10-2023 12:58 PM

I can answer that question right now. Because that shop is not operating anymore. And no machine shop would entertain making a few screws for someone anyway.

Is Tom Carter still making screws? He made some hammer screws for my Wm. Moore double that were top notch.

allen newell 04-10-2023 01:57 PM

Lou Rotelli may be the solution James as David above suggests.
Thanks Brian for the quick response

Anyone with a lathe can make them. But the difference between a few dollars per screw and $75 per screw is all in the equipment/capability and quantity being made.

Louis Rotelli 04-11-2023 02:58 PM

James I can make any screws you need. They will be fit , timed, hardened, colored and engraved if needed

Lou, don’t you have other projects to finish? Asking for a friend. :rotf::rotf:
