Any anyone who may have seen the article on the gun in the winter Parker Pages would also know that a big thank you are in order to Geoffroy Gournet, Breck Gorman, Doug Turnbull and Rick Losey for donating their labor and time to the project as well.

And the best way to express your thanks is to BUY LOTS OF TICKETS! More than usual. I want to see it being a record year for ticket sales.

Hello Parker Friends,

The summer is upon us and we are just over 3 months away to the raffle gun drawing. The participation has been tremendous as you would expect from this fine group of Parker Shotgun enthusiasts. If you had the intention of entering the drawing and put those tickets in the pile with the rest of to do's, take a moment to dig them out and send them in to support one of the finest collecting organizations in the gun world.

All the best friends!

I would have enjoyed seeing this gun at Hausmann's but I don't think it was there, if it was I missed it. Brian's work is simply outstanding.

Brian Hornacek 06-05-2023 07:43 AM

It is a great gun. It will be on display at Rock Mountain for Mikes event and at the Vintagers when the ticket will be drawn.

The 2023 winner is Ron Groves from Texas. He is a PGCA member.

Brian Dudley 09-10-2023 08:52 PM

Congratulations to Ron!

Mills Morrison 09-11-2023 01:03 PM

Brian H showed me the upcoming raffle gun and it is a nice one too. Brian, Geoffrey, Breck and Doug are a tough act to follow though

Brian Dudley 09-12-2023 07:34 AM

Yes. Next years is a very nice high condition GHE damascus 12g. But with the annual meeting slated to be at the southern, it will be a short sale period. So buy your tickets when you get them and ask for more!

Patrick Manges 10-09-2023 06:07 PM

Who was the lucky winner?

Chris,

It is a very nice condition Damascus GHE with 30” barrels. Pistol grip. It was on display at the annual meeting.

The raffle team is taking a much needed vacation, like tax accountants after the April rush. Soon I will be posting a new thread on the 2024 Parker raffle gun.

I was told by insiders that life in the gas/oil industry was just one long vacation interrupted by a few days of work and meetings.:shock::rotf:

Yesterday I took delivery of the Parker GH 2023 raffle shotgun from Brian Hornacek and Tom Wooden. It is a beauty. I really appreciate the artisan craftsmanship of Brian Dudley and the others who brought this fine old fowling piece back to life. It will be used and well taken care of. My sincere thanks to all involved. ~~ Ron Groves
