Very early Parker

I saw this on GI and wondered what our members knew about this gun and its history. I have no connection to the gun or the seller but thought it would be an interesting topic. It’s probably been discussed before but I couldn’t find it.

That is a neat one for sure. The seller is not shy on the price either…

Oh this is a local place I have been there before really not that far from Kevins over in Thomasville.

In a prior life, I participated in a round-robin analyses conducted by 7 selected laboratories in the US, Great Britain and Germany for detection of cancer-causing isomers used in organic herbicides and insecticides in the residues of human tissues.

One of the greatest challenges in duplicating results accurately from one lab to the other in double-blind studies (e.g., one sample real, one fake) was the existence of a phenomenon called isomeric tautomerism. This occurs when isomers interchange into or between one another very easily in order to exist together in equilibrium.

I believe the geo-economic equivalent of this phenomenon is in effect as evidenced in the pricing of this gun.

Yesterday it was listed as POR. I called and spoke to the shop owner and he said they wanted 50k. He told me it was included in a collection of 120 guns they purchased in south Florida.

It is certainly a very interesting old Parker.
I don't know about the price, but it would be a great addition to a collection.

This was with Tony Cibelli some years back

I’ve bought a lot of target loads from these guys and a Model 32. Shell prices aren’t too bad, particularly since I can save on shipping. Nice store.

Do they smoke much weed?

Until I read the last line, I was worried that you were stroking out on us Kevin.

Brian, ya gotta wait for the punchline in a story.:) (But he had me wondering, too.)

I'm still smiling at Kevin's response.:rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf:

If you don't ask, you won't get it, I suppose . . .
