What is the earliest gun made in your collection and the latest gun made? My earliest is a Grade 1 Top Lever Hammer gun #54073 12ga 30 Laminate barrels made in 1890, my latest made is a CHE #173441 12ga 32" damascus #3 frame made in 1916, only a 26 year spread. I'm sure others have a much greater spread in years made. Here is a picture of the pair.

The only one I have left....AH 16 gauge 0 frame 26" Damascus gun (1 of only 2 in the records). Shipped August 22, 1898 to a quail hunter in Tidewater VA. The gun was subsequently returned to Parker 3 times, first to restock with a straight grip, next to restock with a pistol grip per original order, lastly to fit a pair of Titanic Steel barrels. I have been searching for these barrels ever since!

My earliest is an 1883 #3 10 gauge with nice 32 inch barrels. The latest is an AH 16 6lb. 5 oz. gun made in 1927.
|
Earliest would be an 1881 12 Lifter, 32" gun with really nice wood.
Latest would be a 1939 GHE 16 ordered by A&F, it has what appears to be the original A&F case. |
152 is the earliest. I’ve got one in the 139xxx sn range as latest, unless you count my Parker Repro.

The earliest Parker gun in my current collection is a back action lifter 12ga serial number 1248. The water table, forend iron and barrel lug shows it as 01248. This gun would have been made approximately 1873. The gun is shown in the Parker Story on page 87 and in the Identification and Serialization book on page 14.
Attachment 111781 The highest serial numbered gun is 239842 a GHE 16ga Skeet gun which was likely made in 1937, but a Remington document from 1942 titled "Surplus Warehouse Stock" shows it was still in inventory at that time. Attachment 111782 Attachment 111783 Attachment 111787 I owned "T" latch serial number 70 made for Chas. Parker by the Meridan Manufacturing Company circa 1867. However I sold it years ago, so is no longer in my collection. Here is a picture of it from page 43 of Ed Muderlak's book titled "Parker Guns - Shooting Flying and the American Experience" followed by me holding it circa 1991. Attachment 111786 |
David, Your GH has a lot more case color than mine, although mine has some. Very nice!

Don't have them in front of me for numbers, but earliest is an 1874 10 ga lifter that would be, from catalog data, equivalent to a D grade. Latest would be a D gr 16 ga Damascus, a G gr 12 ga Damascus, or an N gr 10 ga Twist. The three are all right after 1900, but I think the N grade is the newest if memory serves.

We need pictures! (please)

I agree, I think Chuck wins!
Here are mine...I have 2 earlier gun’s but they are not quite as nice as this #97 in 12b with laminated steel barrels. The other Parker is a 410VH made in 1927. A little over 222,000 guns apart… |
While my 'little' 28ga VH is not my earliest gun, it is the first 24" 28ga.
