Northern SxS Tent Display (Rock Mtn.)
1 Attachment(s)
The theme for the PGCA tent display will be "MY FAVORITE PARKER". As you may recall this was the same theme at the last Hausmanns shoot. I have received a lot of positive feedback on this and numerous folks have suggested that we just stick with this theme for venues that have smaller crowds. It worked well at Ernies and we had a fabulous display IMO. The intent is simply to generate as much interest as possible with no particular guides in terms of gauge, configuration, grade, 1 barrel, 2 barrels, etc. Actually it does not need be your favorite Parker , only you will know that. Just dig one out and bring it along please. You folks know how much we enjoy eye candy.
I have created a display card that we can affix to each gun. A copy of the card created for one of our members for his gun is attached for your viewing pleasure. The sample may or may not be entirely accurate in terms of information contained however it is accurate in format displayed. If you would be so kind as to drop me a line at randy@hsiagency.com or send me a PM with the info on your gun I will prepare the card. It can be as simple as grade, gauge, etc., possibly a short comment why it is your favorite Parker and include your name or not. One thing I have noticed in the tent is that folks are continually inquiring as to "who owns that gun". If you do choose to put your name on the card my hope is that it will allow attendees to identify the owner and create some dialog with them thereby generating additional interest and certainly sharing the vast knowledge of the PGCA membership. Adding your name or not is your decision. Also feel free to bring any other Parker memorabilia along for display, all items welcomed with space permitting. Looking forward to hearing from some of you. No worries though if I don't as you will hear from me then :rotf: See ya'll soon ! |
Sent you an email

Yep. You have a good memory.

The 32" vent rib two trigger would also work. The one you left on the table that time.

Thank you. Sounds like a mighty fine Parker gun.
|
You pretty much nailed it Randy. The only negative to the gun is it's a 12 and not a 20.

Hello Boys and Girls. Bringing this to the top one last time, well maybe "next" to the last time. Either way the PGCA needs your help with the display as we are running a little thin. If you are coming to the Rock next week please give this some consideration so we can have a nice display. Tell me what you are bringing as per the original post and I will make up a snazzy little display card for your treasure. I shall impatiently await your responses :whistle:

Randy I will not arrive until Friday about noon. I can bring AH 85259 12ga 30" MSG 1897 show gun if that works for you. LMK. Craig

LAST CALL
Last call boys and girls. We still have some room on the table for those of you who have waited until the last minute. If you get me the info by 3:00PM tomorrow I will make up a card for your gun, otherwise we will have to pencil it in at the shoot and that's just gonna look out of place, but it can be done. Thanks again to all who have committed. The PGCA appreciates your support. See ya'll soon !
