Congratulations John Davis!

Congrats, John on your shooting at the Georgia State Trap Shoot. The Parker man brought home a bunch of hardware:

Sub-Vet Doubles Champ
Sub-Vet High All Around Champ
Sub-Vet High Over All Champ
Class A Singles Champ

Looks like the weather was less than ideal but you represented the brand very well. Nice shooting!!

A bad picture of the Bling. I shot my SA in the singles events, my SAA upgrade in the handicap events and my GHE in the doubles events.

Congrats !

How'd you come out in defending your title and if you don't mind saying what did you end up with on the 16 yard 200 bird championship event for GA state champion this time ?

Tom Wooden 04-25-2022 08:52 AM

Craig, I shot a 193 in the State Singles Championship. I finished the first hundred with a 99. I dropped one in the fourth box. Conditions were perfect and I was tied for the lead. In the second hundred, the wind picked up and the sun was coming in and out of the clouds. I let it get in my head and ran a 94 :nono:. That was still good enough to win State SubVet Champion. I shot 92 out of 100 in the Doubles event to win State SubVet Doubles Champion. And I went 90 out of 100 in the Handicap event to take 6th place in that championship round. I finished the tournament with High All Around of 375 out of 400, and High Over All of 933 out of 1000. Those scores each took State SubVet Champion.

All for God, Parker and Glory.
