Guided a hunt today for three great guys from Albania. Had Ghillie and Callie in the field and they certainly rocked it!! Let’s just say it was a good day. 😎

Very nice Mike!

Gosh, what a brace, Mike. Every time I see them, I’m struck by how beautiful they are.

Garry, imagine my dilemma when faced with having to choose which two of the four Setters get to go out and play!! Decisions, decisions, decisions...

Not that I know of?? One of the three spoke English with a heavy accent, one spoke very little English and the third knew "OK" and "dog". Even not understanding what the third hunter was saying I laughed my butt off when he started roasting the other guys chestnuts when they missed. Trust me, he roasted A LOT of chestnuts!! :rotf:

So could they say in Albanian "my Parker broke, you got Fox?

Chuck Bishop 03-07-2022 07:40 PM

There is a Albion and Alburtis in Pa. Maybe you just misunderstood where they were from and they were just speaking the local dialect! Did you have your hearing aids turned on?:whistle:

Chuck, I grew up right next to Alburtis, the dialect is PA Dutch. Albanian is a dialect all of it's own.
