Parker Pages - Spring edition
I just received the Spring Edition of the Parker Pages and it's a dandy. I'm very partial to "round pistol grips" so I love that cover photo. Beautiful wood on that 10 ga.! Wow!
|
I just came back in from my mailbox and it was there too. Looks like a good one!

Got mine and need to read it tonight. Bobby

There's some great content in it. Some of our regular contributors but with some we haven't heard from in some time. Art Wheaton's tribute to our friend George King was nice to read and I haven't started Louis' article yet - I'll read it tonight.
A Big Thank You to everybody who brought this issue together! . |

Just got mine as well. As a hammer gun guy, that cover picture with the lifters is just wonderful. Can't wait to read this issue...

I enjoyed the article about the trap shooting Barrister too. And that BHE 20 was very interesting as well. Thanks guys for the writing!

Those Lifters on the cover are beautiful!
|
Got mine yesterday, no time to look at it yet. Rick , that last ice storm dropped a big dead ash tree on my mailbox, snapped the 4x4 post.
|
The magazine never looked so good, really nice work these days.
|
The USPS mule made it to the Washington/Idaho border today. Great issue. Love those Grade 5s.
|
Excellent issue!

No sign of it yet in South Jersey!

Mine came Monday in South Jersey

Great articles, all. My personal congratulations to Mike for the excellent article on John's stellar accomplishments on the trap field. When I first read of his wins, on this site, I assumed he had been at it for many years. To read of such accomplishments after such a short "career" at trap, well ......... I am in awe. Having shot competitive sporting clays for over 20 years I can appreciate the dedication, and ability, that it shows. Well done, John!
And, well done to all who contributed. |
That 10 gauge lifter on the cover looks almost as large as the 8 gauge beside it whats the frame size on that one ?
|
As a new member this is my first issue. I was immediately struck by the quaality of the publication and content. Top notch.

The 10 gauge is a 4 frame and the 8 gauge is a 7 frame. Stan Hoover |
Made it to the Gulf Coast! Haven't had time to spend with it but the cover set up a drool for myself and a couple of labs here.

Great issue well done and I was fascinated by the Prison Parkers and how well we were represented even behind bars. No pun intended.
|
Still no sign of mine, although Jim D., who lives near me, got his some time ago. Not a good omen!
|
What a wonderfully diverse issue. Different types of articles, all of very high quality. Our colleagues and two editors are top-notch. (On a personal note, the little BHE 20 that Randy described and photographed so well is keeping me awake at night...in a good way, of course).
There are so many wonderful perks to being a member! Parker Pages is one of the best. |
Mine arrived today in Minnesota.
