Brian Dudley 03-03-2022 11:23 AM

20g white A1s are very hard to come by these days.

Joseph Sheerin 03-03-2022 11:38 AM

Sweet Deal! :D

Bill Murphy 03-03-2022 11:48 AM

One set are choked alike, a very rare combination. I don't see the bids. Do you guys see the bids. Is the bid for all of them or one? I want all of them.

Bill, that first sentence reminds me of an old joke… What’s the difference between a duck?

Answer… One leg is both the same!

What do you mean by your statement?

I wonder what his price is for all 4 guns. This is just too cool

Ken Hill 03-03-2022 02:26 PM

Bill,

There are no bids on GI. The listing description is confusing on how he's selling the guns (i.e., one gun at the price or all three). Also, I don't understand the statement "
last three pictures below are indicative of the guns and not these". The last three pictures are boxes.

Ken

Brian Dudley 03-03-2022 02:30 PM

GI is not an auction bidding site. It is a classifieds site.

Given that $7-$10k is the normal asking price for these with one barrel set in 12g, I would safety assume that his listed price is per gun.

Greg Baehman 03-03-2022 02:42 PM

IMHO, the seller could have used a little help in formulating his description and listing, supported by more and better pics.

It has to be that, or it's simply a bogus listing.

Part of what adds to the skepticism, is this is their first, and only ever GI listing.

Could be they do not have much experience selling guns, but if that's the case... That's one heck of a way to break the ice on that. :D

Bill Murphy 03-03-2022 04:44 PM

He knows something about a gun, but he may be selling these guns on consignment.

Bob Jurewicz 03-03-2022 05:07 PM

If I thought this was anything but a scam I would do a face to face.
It is close enough to me.
Bob Jurewicz

Bill Murphy 03-03-2022 05:16 PM

Bob, pick me up on your way and we can make a package deal.

David Noble 03-03-2022 06:04 PM

The sellers phone number was shown in the ad so I called. It went to voice mail, with the message "the mailbox is full". I wonder why.

The truth is "if" it is all four guns for that price they'd already be gone and "if" this isn't a scam somebody would get a screaming deal!
His number one mistake was not making it perfectly clear!

Destry L. Hoffard 03-03-2022 08:11 PM

I would pay $100 to see Murphy write the check for these.

Bill just said that he would supervise Bob making a package deal on the gun.

Destry L. Hoffard 03-03-2022 11:14 PM

He said he'd take em all.

Bill Murphy 03-04-2022 07:03 AM

I have made some serious mistakes in the past by not just getting in the car and driving to see guns like this.

Mark Gebhart 03-04-2022 01:44 PM

He did email me back and stated it’s $9995.00 per gun.

Bob Jurewicz 03-04-2022 02:02 PM

I "fold".

I noticed today that the seller has reworded his description to say that one or all could be purchased.
Still not a decisive statement such as "$9995.00 per gun.

David C Porter 03-04-2022 10:45 PM

I asked seller to send pictures of the 3-20 gauges. He's not willing to share pictures & says to look at other A-1 to see how they should look. You’d have to be an idiot to buy any of these sight unseen. Also, no factory leather 2-barrel case.

Destry L. Hoffard 03-04-2022 10:47 PM

That's a "buy in person" kinda sale if I ever saw one.
