I can't tell from the pictures but that looks like it might be one of the rare Damascus or Parker Laminate recievers too.

That walks the line of being called “folk art”. Drive a few brass tacks into it and it could have a native connection too.

I had a TA hammer gun for awhile that had some "homemade checkering" it was slightly better than this example. I thought I could live with it but couldn't. It was one of the many lessons I learned in my early years of Parker collecting.

Looks like the infamous "carp" pattern, rarely seen. On a serious note, that looks like a later model lifter with the radius at the breech face. Might be worth restoring if the cut barrels were decent and the price was down below $500. Probably won't happen.

I believe that is Stevie Wonders work.

That's way too bad to have any desirability to me, but I do have a 1918 BE Fox with 32" barrels that has the original owner's first two initials and last name crudely engraved into the trigger guard bow. It just endears it to me. Since it's been restocked anyway I decided long ago to leave it be.

I think a Wells Fargo badge tacked on the side of the stock would compliment the authenticity of that gun.
