Added a second Lefever to my collection
1 Attachment(s)
I have come to appreciate Lefevers late in my collecting life. The top gun is my new addition, a Lefever EE 12ga 30" bbls 487xx choked .019/.027 1 5/8" x 2 5/8" x 14 1/4" weight 7lbs 10oz. Bottom gun is my E 8ga. 35" bbls 127xx.
Besides being handsome guns the design changes during their history is a interesting topic to study. |
Great looking gun!

I have two Lefevers as well, although mine are not as nice as yours
|
Well that’s just a little one :rotf: And very nice I might add
|
Nice pair of Lefevers.
|
Thanks all. Maybe I should try for the 5 of a kind Lefever E's, all I need is a 10ga.----not real difficult and a 20ga and 16ga-----almost impossible. Fun to dream!!

Neat to see those two guns side-by-side. It really shows what an 8 gauge is.

Love the 8 gauge

Very nice Lefever’s Craig,
I was always taught that jealousy is wrong, I don’t think they were referring to fine shotguns. Stan |

Craig - great looking guns! Momma Mia!!!!

I have a rack of nice Lefevers, all E grade and lower. Josh helped me get my first higher grade Lefever, a nice C, and it happened to be an eight. Yes, a C grade 8 gauge. It may have a wart or two, but I haven't found them yet. I received my first Lefever when I was about eleven years old, an E grade pigeon gun, a gift from my uncle who had kept it under wraps since 1929, when my grandfather died. My uncle had no children, so I was the recipient.

Craig, great loving Lefevers!!!
I sold a Lefever EE in near mint condition years ago and it's 1 of 2 guns I've regretted selling!! I had bought it from William Larkin and Moore more than 20 years ago. |
