The Vimy Parker and two limits. Lab is Fergie who lives with a hunting partner’s son. A good day in Saskatchewan. Cheers Jack

I've got 2 more Parkers to carry a VH 20, 26' and a PH 20fluid steel. Not going to carry the Grade 2 12 hammer gun, too darn heavy

Beautiful Harold! What load are you using for the 16??

It is a 7/8 oz of 6s, with Universal 19.5 gr, SG 16 wad, in an RST 21/2" hull,
going about 1150 fps, per Hogdons data. I use 8s with it for clays. |
Thank you Harold I have a lot of RST 2 1/2” hulls in 16g. Sounds like a nice load.
|
Harold, was all this on one hunt, or several over time? Nice array either way!
|
Andy, have some nice 3/4 oz loads, great for grouse, Woodcock, and clays also.
Dave, it was all different hunts. Limit is 2 per day. |
jack looks like you and the dog are doing alright...harld those are great pictures of you and the guns and dogs...glad you got to hitting again...them big pheasants look to be easy to kill but on my first pheasant hunt with calvin humberg I could not hit to good...charlie

I had a hard time hitting them myself on that first day in South Dakota. Bruce Day gave me some coaching about really leading them and I did better the second day.
