10-gauge Collectors

So, who is going to be a player and go after that latest 34-inch, vent rib, cutie our man Josh just listed??

CraigThompson 08-04-2021 08:41 PM

Go after and actually pay for it don’t fit in my Uhm budget :rotf:

Mike Franzen 08-05-2021 07:35 AM

Well never mind . . . . saw the price. The one I want real bad is the 3" CHE, but that is over my budget

Bill Murphy 08-05-2021 10:06 AM

My sad story is missing out on Billy Mitchell's CHE 28" #1 frame 12 gauge vent rib gun with factory checkered wood butt, straight grip. The asking price was $1000 which I agreed to pay. Given a couple of hours to raise the cash, the seller refused to deliver. I haven't seen the gun since. This was probably 40 years ago. A good part of the general's collection was sold locally in Northern Virginia.

Yep, that's a dandy. I have seen that one and there is no doubt that bad boy fits my MO. Maybe I will stare at it long enough that I just have to have it :)

That is one beauty as well Mills. I have handled that gun and I really like it. Rare configuration with great wood and engraving to match. J Lo has some great stuff for sure.

Damn!! The great 10-gauge hammerless Parkers just keep coming -- AH, DHE two barrel set, several DHs barrels up to 36".....

Same here… you could always sell your truck or your wife’s car…

Alfred Greeson 08-21-2021 12:47 PM

My wife would sell me before selling her car!!!

An irony in all this is that most of us could look in our safes and tally up at least that much money in guns we already own.

That is one unique and beautifully conditioned gun!

Larry Stauch 08-29-2021 09:10 PM

Use for these guns; WHAT?

Harry; Now we have to have a USE for these guns?

You're ruining my day. :rotf:

The steel barrel 10’s are far more rare than the 410’s.
