Choke work on parkers
Folks I have a couple Parker’s I want to have the chokes opened up on for skeet and ducks over decoys, who do you trust to open them up , I’m in central Washington but don’t mind shipping across the country for quality work.
Thanks in advance |
Dean Harris that owns Skeets.

I also recommend Skeets.

Me three.
|
Jim Eyster, Heritage Gunsmiths, Ohio
|
Mike Orlen, MA.

I was thinking of Mike Orlen of Amherst MA too. Mike does excellent choke and chamber work but he sometimes doesn't communicate well, occasionally taking days or even a couple of weeks to reply or respond... but the work does get done and done well.

Roger Eubanks of Eubanks Gunsmithing Homedale Idaho. One of the best!....

Mike only does barrel work, so he's not spread thin in any department. The best part is I hand delivered them, and picked them up, avoiding any shipping horrors. |
I will second the opinion that you need to be specific with Mike. Perhaps painfully specific. Do this, Dont do that.
He was very fast and friendly however. We all have our bad days. |
He has opened up several chokes for me on Parker, Foxes and SKB's. Mike can also open up guns that have chrome lined bores. PS. I put a sticky on each barrel of what I wanted that's barrels constriction to be. Enclosed a check for the full amount to include shipping. Barrels were done and back in my hands in about 4 days. I didn't even call him first, but I did use tracking for the barrels and knew when they arrived at his shop. Everything I have had him do has been spot on correct. His sweet spot now doubt is opening chokes IMO.
