Dean Romig 05-03-2021 01:46 PM

I know you want to give credit to The Parker Gun, and it is well deserving of the accolades but you, John, are the true champion!!

John, this is wonderful, I’m so proud,

Daryl Corona 05-03-2021 03:56 PM

Looks like in this case it's the Indian not the arrow. Nice shooting my friend. Maybe now you can quit your day job and pick up the sponsorship of those Parker guys and make some real money.

Brett Hoop 05-03-2021 04:10 PM

Outstanding!!!!

And there is always a youth shooter around you and with you. That makes you a Champion in my book!

Steve Huffman 05-03-2021 04:19 PM

Stan Hoover 05-03-2021 04:20 PM

ATTA BOY!!! Well done John. Congrats on hanging tough and keeping focused. You’ve made Parker Universe very proud!!

Mike Koneski 05-03-2021 06:42 PM

John, those photos will look good in the Fall issue of Parker Pages.

Daryl Corona 05-03-2021 06:52 PM

Now all you have to do to complete your sweep of the SBT awards John is to win the WC Lettermann cup at Hausmann's in June. I know you are capable but will the Parker SBT hold out against the fabled Fox SBT? We are waiting to find out.

charlie cleveland 05-03-2021 06:55 PM

nice job well done...charlie

Chuck Bishop 05-03-2021 07:58 PM

Congratulations John. That should put you in the Champion of Champions event at the Grand shooting against the Big Dogs!

Brian Hornacek 05-03-2021 08:21 PM

Outstanding John!

CraigThompson 05-03-2021 09:23 PM

John at the risk of being nosey what was your total for the three championship events ?

John Davis 05-03-2021 09:52 PM

877x1000. Not to make excuses but the wind made it really tough for everybody. However, what really hurt me was my Doubles scores. I'm still struggling to figure that game out. But I'm working on it.

John Davis 05-03-2021 10:09 PM

BTW, I dropped 13 out of 400 in Singles. And they were all my fault. The SB would have broke them if I'd done my part.

Joe Graziano 05-03-2021 11:29 PM

Congratulations! I’ve shot a lot of ATA. 195/200 is fine shooting. Grinding through those 200 targets while maintaining focus is no easy feat. Great shooting!

Mike Franzen 05-04-2021 01:02 AM

You’re writing trap shooting history just like the great gunners of yesterday. Fred Kimble would be proud. It’s truly amazing what you and your Parker’s have accomplished in such a short period of time.

Chuck Bishop 05-04-2021 07:17 AM

I sure hope they interviewed you for Trap and Field magazine. It's a unique story.

John Davis 05-04-2021 08:30 AM

There was a brief interview about the gun. Date of manufacture, grade, etc. I doubt we’ll see much, if anything, about it in T&F.

Mark Conrad 05-05-2021 06:31 AM

Congratulations John. Maybe a new avatar with that trophy is in order.

Stan Hillis 05-05-2021 07:17 AM

Thanks so much for sharing that with us, John. You make us all proud, but especially us old farts! :rotf:
