My shells were out of stock.

I received mine early this past week. Now I need to order more but not in such a big hurry..... I need some specialty stuff for 16 and 12 for this fall.

I usually shoot ounce loads in 16 gauge. I just purchased my first Parker sibI thought I would try the 7/8 ounce loads since so much is out of stock. So far I like them.

Ordered 2 flats on Sunday night. They arrived this morning (Wednesday). Impressively quick turnaround. Might order more while they still have some in stock.

Wish I could get 209 primers that fast if at all.

Which 28ga load from RST would folks recommend for woodcock in a DHE reproduction with Mod/ IC barrels ?

Reggie Bishop 03-05-2021 12:42 PM

28 gauge is the one gauge they have a decent selection in inventory. I just bought some myself. You should be able to use any of their offerings in a reproduction gun without any issues. I would use #8 myself for woodcock.

Brett Hoop 03-05-2021 01:33 PM

3/4 oz. of 8, RST only offers that in the 2 3/4" hull. And 8s will do just fine for the King should you run into him visiting the soft ground.
