Please Mr. Postman, look and see...
is there a Parker Pages in your bag for me? Yep; there was!
(Apologies to The Marvelettes). |
I received mine today too, It is, as usual, very nicely done with some excellent writing by our PGCA Members.
I must say however, that your Editor's pants are on fire!! In Mike's part of the Editorial he erroneously (to put it kindly) states that I put him in a headlock and wouldn't release my grip on him until he agreed to sign on as Editor. But that's not how I remember it... he came crawling across the gravel parking lot at Ernie's on all fours actually begging me to allow him to try out for the position.... C'mon Mike - Come clean... :corn::rotf::cheers: . |
Arrived in PA Dutch Country today as well. Looks like a great afternoon read on a cold ,windy, winter day.:)
|
I hope mine doesn't take as long to get to me as the DGJ did!
|
Arrived in MN today.
|
Arrived today in Tennessee
|
Wisconsin as well. Well read. Read well. And all read already.

Yea! Mine arrived today, and now I, finally, have gotten the skinny on "fore-end" versus all the other iterations of this enigmatic term. Thanks!!
|
So, Dean, you are saying I gravel groveled into the job??? 😂 It seems to be out of character for me. 😱

Got mine Saturday--read it Sunday. The wolf with a CHE 20 was interesting, but also chilling to those that hunt our bird dogs in wolf country. Wisconsin actually has a wolf season running right now--kudos for getting that thru. I ran into a crippled/dying bear in the UP back in the early 90's--my old Brittany was on point and found him pointing the poor bear.
7/8 oz of 7 1/2 thru my VH 20 put it out of its misery |
Dean, you remember how good Tool Man looked in the tutu after Parker beat Fox the first time??? Just sayin’.
|
Let's not get too nasty Mike... :crying::cheers:

It’s all good Dean-o! Just roasting some chestnuts. :)
|
Ya just never know. The Editors of Parker Pages weild an awesome power.
. |
“With great power comes great responsibility.” Rats! Now I have to behave.
|
Read my Parker Pages as soon as i got it and wonderful job! Bobby
|
Well as of 3/4/21 I’ve not seen it .
|
I thought you were all talking about the Summer issue, but too early for that one. I rcvd the Spring issue in Iowa 2 or 3 weeks ago.
|
I thought as a paying member I should get a PP.. So far there has been nothing in the pony express box down at the road....
Am I missing something about who gets the PP's ? |
Have you received your new member package? Your first issue of Parker Pages will be included in that package. After that you will wait with bated breath like thevrest of us.
. |
Arrived here on the Washington/Idaho border on the 1st.

I am a happy camper...... |
Thanks Bruce. As far as I know, it has been customary that the New Member Package that Mary sends gas always included the most recent issue of Parker Pages, in which case you should have received the Winter 2020 Issue.... unless the policy has changed regarding new members.

Not a big deal for me as far as past issues. I was not here then. I am good with that. This most recent issue made for good reading and the production quality is right there with Parker shotguns. Had a friend out today with his young setter and got 3 woodcock pointed while I drove the Can Am. Robins in the yard.... I hope the month gets screwed up and goes out like a lamb like it came in.
