Shout out for Josh L
 

Wanted to pass along a shout out for Josh and his efforts in the PGCA community !

I missed out on the recent bargain article sale on the 10Ga DH grade 3, I reached out and Josh let me know that he was just in process of posting another Grade 2 GH 10GA,.

I asked for some pictures and he more than happy to oblige.
Josh let me know it was in nice shape.

I have not had experience with Damascus, but always wanted one.

I decided to take it, and it arrived today.

The pictures did not do it justice and Josh saying it was in "good shape" was an understatement!

Awesome shape for a 131 year old gun !

Wouldn't it be refreshing if all gun 'dealers' shared the same sense of enthusiasm, knowledge, and ethics? I mean, isn't that what you expect?

I actually had this thought while out doing my chores; For those of you who know Josh's father, it is no mystery why Josh is as well respected. For the majority who have never met him, it's reassuring to know there are fathers that still pass on the stuff what matters.

A couple years ago I did not need more guns , but then I got a call from Josh and when I did not immediately pick up , a call from Charlie. Charlie told me to call Josh and told me Josh had a gun for me that I had to buy. My protestations none the less I called Josh who said he was at the Las Vegas gun show and I needed to buy this gun and to look at the initials. Then my only question was how much was this going to cost me.

If a person is looking for a gun, I don’t think you can go wrong by telling Josh what you want .

A few months ago I purchased a minty grade one hammer gun from Josh. It was exactly as described and had wood on it that looked more like it belonged on a grade three gun! The Laminated barrels were 99%. All at a very fair price!
Josh normally “under promises and over delivers” on his guns! Thanks Josh! 😊

What can you say about Josh that hasn't been said,I bought a couple of guns from him, never a problem, wish more dealers were like him and his father.

Josh is a good man and I hope he is successful in the future. He has moved a few guns back into the stream of commerce for me and I have purchased some really great guns from him. He knows the market so don't expect to pick up a sleeper but he has great stuff at market prices.

I admire and respect Josh for what he does and how hard he works at it. With my track record buying and selling guns I wouldn’t last a week in that business.

We’ve only struck on a deal twice . The first was uneventful the second thanks to FedEx took a little longer than anticipated no fault of his or mine . All worked out fine in the end . Several deals weren’t struck at no fault of his just me being TIGHT . I’m sure in the future we'll most likely strike upon another deal or two :whistle:
